I spoke with him and told him the whole story. He said you threatened him.” Aarshon seemed to laugh at the fact that Nix had threatened her brother. Nix could hear a hint of amusement in his voice. “Before you ask, we didn’t hear from your dad about Quinn. His scent keeps circling, and they can’t figure out why.”“Yes, I did threaten him. He is being a jackass about the whole thing. I didn’t say he had to stay at the house. Just that we needed him for Sage. Hell, we don’t even know if this is going to work. She shifted into a wolf, combing the area for Eamon’s scent. When she picked it up, she howled into the night. Moving with the scent, she found he had stayed in the area for the night at least. She found his hideout a few moments later. The bones of a bird or a cat lie on the ground. Nix took another deep breath and let it out slowly. She moved to the side, then up the row.
