CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

I walked round the lair. Reminding myself of the little but cherishable memories I once had with the dark quiet place. Liam was in the room and he was as patient as ever, sipping on his fifth cup of water. He wouldn't accept anything else from me. I understood 'cause I would never drink another witch's tea. We are evilly unpredictable.

I, as an experienced and learned witch, knew it took time to make a love pearl but impatience was a common attribute of a witch.

The kids were taken care of and put to bed. I loved kids, even though I could never have one which was all thanks to my mother. I wasn't a fairytale which that ate kids whole but just because I wasn't didn't mean there weren't. My mother was one of them.

She ate hundred of kids in her lifetime till I overpowered her and took her powers from her but now she was dead, thanks to the Devil.

The saddening part was he didn't even realize he had taken my family from me. There was only one thing he loved
