Chapter 10

When Natalie returned home, she saw that Lucian had not yet returned from his office. Seeing Natalie enter the house, a servant approached her and asked respectfully, "Mrs. Center Lunch is ready. Although lunch time has passed, but still please come and have lunch."

"I have already eaten. I am sorry. I should have told you that I would have lunch outside. I have made you suffer unnecessarily. I am so sorry about this," Natalie said with bit regret. She was so busy talking with the old couples that she didn't notice the time. And then when she wanted to leave they requested her to have lunch with them. Natalie couldn't say no to them. So, she ate with them.

"No problem, Mrs. Center. It is okay," The servant said with a smile.

"It is not okay. We should not waste food. Please eat the food you made for me. From now I will inform you in advance" Natalie said to her and then went to her room. Entering the room, Natalie took out her laptop and started checking Lucas' background. After reading everything Natalie closed the laptop.

They were right. Lucas is powerful. I have money but I can't defeat him with this. They are right I need someone power than him to support me" Natalie whispered and got down from bed.

Natalie stood in front of the window and looked outside. Lucas Robert is really a powerful person in this society. His business is very extensive. "They were right in saying that I need the support of a powerful person to destroy Robert. If I work according to the plan I came with to destroy Robert, it will take a long time to destroy Robert. Even if it takes time, there would be no problem working according to this plan if my husband was not Lucian Center but someone else. I can not be able to stay with Lucian for long. If I stay here for a long time, my identity may be exposed. If it is exposed, I will never be able to live in peace. So I have to do this work and go somewhere far away from here as soon as possible."

"To destroy Lucas, I have to destroy his most precious thing. His company. I need the support of a person who is more powerful than Lucas. I need the support of a skilled and powerful businessman. If I get the support of a businessman stronger than Lucas, I will be able to destroy him so easily. But where can I find such a businessman?" Natalie was thinking to herself at that moment Lucian's car stopped in front of the house. Natalie looked down through the window and saw Lucian getting down from the car.

Natalie raised her eyebrows at the sight of Lucian. Her eyes widened as she remembered something. "Why am I thinking about a powerful businessman when I have the business king sitting in front of me? There is no bigger businessman in this country than Lucian Center. If Lucian helps me, I can easily erase Robat's name from the world.

If Lucian agrees to help me, it will be very easy for me to do the job, but what can I tell Lucian? I can't offer him money because he already has so much money that he won't able to spend a single cent of it even if he stop working for the rest of his life. I have nothing to give him except treatment. He will help me if I treat his leg, but to cure his leg, I will have to reveal my secret identity in front of him, which I don't want to do. I can't fool Lucian, he is a very smart person. He will never believe my lies.

I thought I could control him very easily when I saw he was a paralyzed person, but I was wrong. I can never control Lucian. Lucian is an uncontrolled person," Natalie muttered and turned from the window when someone knocked on her door.

"Come in," Natalie said, and a servant entered.

"Yes, what is it? What do you want?" Natalie asked the servant.

"Mrs. Center, Mr. Center has called you to his study room. He is waiting for you. Please come with me," The servant said.

"Sure. Let's go. I have also something to tell him" Natalie nodded and left the room with the servant.

Natalie stood in front of the study room and knocked on the door, and immediately Lucien's heavy voice was heard from inside. "Come in"

Natalie entered the study room. When she entered the study room, she saw Lucian reading a file attentively. Natalie glanced at him. She didn't know he use glasses. She found him so handsome with glasses.

When she stood in front of Lucian he took off his glasses and placed them on the table, looking at her and he spoke up in a serious tone, "Have a chair. I have something important to talk to you about."

Hearing Lucian's words, Natalie sat down on the chair without saying anything, "Why did you call me here? Do you need anything from me?"

Lucian looked at Natalie and asked, "I want to know what Lucas promise to gave you to marry me for? In exchange for what did you agree to marry me?" Hearing Lucian's words, Natalie looked at him for a moment and asked, "Is this important for you to know?"

"Of course, it's for me; I want to know what my wife married me for. You were supposed to hate your Father Lucas, but instead of hating him, you listened to him and marry a paralyzed man like me.  You must be have a reason behind it. Of course, you didn't listen to Lucas and marry me for no reason. What is the reason?" Lucian asked her sharply.

"So, you did a background check on me?" Natalie asked him with a smile.

Hearing Natalie's words, Lucian smiled a little and uttered. "I knew you were very smart. You caught it very easily. I have every rights to know about my wife. I just exercised my rights and nothing else. You lived with your Mother in that village for 15 years. When your Mother was sick and hospitalized, you did everything to save your Mother. Even sacrificing your self-respect, you danced in clubs for money. You acted in fighting scenes in movies, participated in boxing contests.

Even after doing so much, you couldn't save your Mother. You even sold your house to save your Mother. No one in the village knows where you were after your Mother's death. You disappeared for five years, then you came back, bought that house again and started living there. You loved your Mother so much, so why did you marry me after listening to that man who abandoned you and your Mother. Surely there must be a big reason behind it"

After hearing Lucian's words, Natalie could guess a little about Lucian's power. Lucian had managed to get her life story out in a few hours. Natalie made up her mind. She looked at Lucian and said, "You are right. There is a reason for this I listen to Lucas. There is a reason why I married you." Hearing Natalie admit everything, Lucian laughed and leaned back in his chair and said, "So, what is that reason?"

"I want to destroy Lucas," Natalie said.

"And how are you going to do that? Do you have enough power to bring him down, Ms. Robert? Well I do not think so you have the enough power to bring him down" Lucian looked at her sharply and uttered. He was truly amused by her talks.

Natalie looked at him and said with a devilish smile, "correction here, Mr. Center. I am no longer Ms Robert. I am Mrs. Center now. I think my surname has enough power to bring anyone down. Don't you think so?"

Lucian looked at her and chuckled at her confidence.

"Of course your surname has the power but why will I let you use the power? What will I gain from this? It is your revenge game. It is your personal revenge game. I have nothing to do with this. So why should I let you use the power of my name in this game? What is my gain in this? You must know that nothing is free in this world. To get something, you must give something in return" Lucian asked like a true devil. He suddenly got interested in her.

"Of course I know it. And I will give you the thing you need the most and I know you will glad to have this. What about your leg?" Natalie asked him with a professional smile.

Lucian frowned at her and uttered, "My legs!"

"I will heal your legs if you help me to destroy Lucas Robert to the point where he can never stand. I will make you stand on your feet once again" Natalie looked at him and said seriously. Lucian looked at her blankly with saying anything.

Natalie wanted to read his expression but it was impossible. This man in front of her is a expert when it comes to hide expression and put a poker face.

"So, you are the Magical.....?" Lucian looked at Natalie seriously.
