ACEIA'S POV

After a blissful two weeks of vacation, we found ourselves back in New York because of Hudson's mounting responsibilities. Surprisingly, the international escapade had provided an unexpected buffer, allowing me the space to adapt to my surroundings in ways I hadn't anticipated.
