Chapter 60: Jealous

Zacharias was ignored by his wife the entire lunch in a blur. All her focus was drawn to her nephew and his parents. Phyllis really treated Zacharias like he was not eating with them.

Admittedly, it was Rui's first time to see Phyllis show her disappointment in such an obvious manner. Usually, she won't hold back and say it straightforwardly. Besides Phyllis' usual banter against her twin, this was the worst that she has witnessed yet.

Rui was holding her husband's hands as they strolled around the hotel. From afar, they saw Phyllis rushing back to her room with Zacharias trailing behind her.

“Your cousin has a habit of messing up, honey,” Chase commented.

Rui sighed. “Yeah, he messed up big time.”

“But what will you do to the idol?” she continued.

Chase softly patted the back of his son that he was carrying. “We'll see what she'll do with her picture with Eon first.”

“If we confront them right now, they might say that we're an overprotective parent.”
