Chapter 94: Visitor

The secretary first entered the office to inform the mayor and his daughter about their unexpected visitor.

“Really? Did he really come?”

Tiffany excitedly asked about the visitor that they have this afternoon.

“He's here?!”

She then turned to her father and asked, “Are you expecting a visit from the Lohr family?”

“No…” his father answered.

“Do you have any business with them?”

The old mayor sipped his hot coffee and responded, “Aside from his mother, no.”

Hearing this answer brightened Tiffany's stressful day. For the past few weeks, she has been trying to pressure Phyllis to get an apology from her. Just this afternoon, she got word from the city engineer’s office that the head architect of YJL Construction has already questioned them and is trying to get the decision overturned.

'How can they think that this would be checked by someone from a higher-up? My father has the say in this city.'
