Chapter 17

ANDREW POV

I haven’t visited the hospital in the past five days to check up on my dad’s health condition and as for mom, she seems too busy preparing for the wedding and doesn’t want to talk to me after our last argument about meeting my bride-to-be.

She just doesn’t seem to give me any break to be on my own and I wonder what that lady has done to have made her so obsessed about the wedding.

I grabbed my phone and took one last look of myself before strolling out of my room to the living room.

I got to the living room and found decorations everywhere and some people laughing but upon my arrival they all stopped.

“Good morning Mr Walton.” They stuttered in fear.

“Fools.” I grumbled and headed in the direction of the dining room to find mom and two of the maids having a discussion.

“Good morning.” She replied in the usual tone she has been acting in the last five days.
