The Condition

“I will marry you but I have one CONDITION” said Nitra now everyone eyes were set on her for what condition she has and how she gathered that much confidence when everyone specially Vikram knew how she stuttered in front of him because of the fear she had for him.

“Baby once you marry me I will agree to all your conditions, don't stress about that and don’t worry I will not back out from my words” Vikra said without even listening to her pleas.

He was going to get up and leave when she again interrupted while gaining his attention who was standing at the opposite end of the table. “At Least for once, listen to this condition. It needs to be addressed before we get.. Before we get MARRIED” Nitra said not willing to accept that she was going to marry him, a ruthless mafia.

“SAY” Vikram spoke with a husky tone throwing diggers in her soul looking into her eyes as they will suck out her life any moment now.

“I… I… I wanted to say that… I… Actually the thing...” Nitra said not knowing what to say and how to say.

“SAY IT, DAMN IT” Vikram spoke in an angry tone making her flinch badly. She didn’t want this but somehow she gathered all the courage that was left in her and tried again.

“Actually… the thing is that… I don’t want to rush for the wedding so I need a little time as in you understand as in to get to know you” she finally spoke

“We will talk about it in the evening.” Vikram said not wanting to make a decision in a hurry.

“I will wait and pray to god. Have a good day.” Nitra said with a smile she herself did know that she didn't still get an approval from Vikram but was happy to know that at least he didn't reject her plea straight on her face.

While on the other hand Vikram was unknown to the fact why her smile was bringing an unknown smile to his face and everyone around him were shocked to see him smiling after a long time.

After that Vikram left for his office leaving Nitra alone by herself along with a few maids and guards appointed by Vikram. It was his idea he never wanted to leave her alone in the first place.

Time Skip

After Lunch

From the time Vikram left, Nitra was only hoping and praying silently that he grants her wish which she said earlier because somewhere she also knew that she has to get married to him either by willing or he has his own ways that she didn't want to know.

She knew that if this demand of her is fulfilled, she would get some time she never wanted to know her at the first place but something else was going on her mind last night about what she decided to achieve that she needs to play this.

Flashback Last Night

After Vikram said that she had two choices Nitra was broken from inside not knowing how to react instead of just cry her heart out she was not aware about this side of world as she always has been protected and taken care of by her parents they never taught her how to fight how to even take care of herself.

She knew she had no other options than what Vikram had told her; his voice kept echoing in her ears to which she had no answer she knew she would have to do something before tomorrow morning but what was the question in her mind. What could be done. 

“Either marry me and accept me as your husband or else I will sell you to someone and be their personal slut, new men everyday.”

Was the only sentence that kept revolving in her mind throughout the entire time.

“I need to go away. I don't want to stay here. Yes... yes... yes... I need to run away. I need to escape from here, from him. I need to go back to my mom, to my dad. They must be worrying about me” Nitra said as the idea of escape came to her mind but before she could think about a plan her door knocked bringing her out of her thoughts she knew if it was Vikram she was gonna get killed today. “No it can't be him” she kept assuring herself after which her room’s door opened welcomed by a maid she sighed taking out the breath she didn't even know she was holding back. She came to inform her to get ready and come to breakfast as her boss, Vikram, was waiting for her. She gave her about 10 minutes and left with a smile she knew she didn’t want to get married in a rush or else everything would be destroyed which may not even be brought back by anything.  She got an idea that she needed time to plan time to execute a plan to escape from Vikram's house from his trap.

Dinner Time

At The Table

Vikram got back a little while ago and straight away went to get freshed up after a long tiring day all he wanted was a long quiet warm shower so he didn't glance a second after getting back home and restricted everyone to disturb him.

“What did you think about the condition?” Nitra spoke eagerly waiting for his answer as her life depended on it well true also she had life as a bet on this very question.

After a while Vikram look up to her to match her reply when he said “Ok I thought about it and my answer is YES we can postpone the wedding but it will happen after 10 days and you would have no other choice except for marrying me you can't back up or else you will meet the actual Vikram seth who is hiding behind this cover and remember I won't spare you if you tried to act smart”. He said as if he knew what was going on her mind as if he was aware of her every move, every breath.

“Thank you, you are the best.” Nitra replied with the biggest smile she could ever give.

NEXT CHAPTER PEEK

“Sir she ran away.” one of his men managed to say while catching his breath as he ran to Vikram to get him this news.

“Get her back or else you would be dead meat track her location I will go with you” Vikram said while throwing a vase on the ground shattering it in pieces.

“Babe again you did a wrong move now wait to see the actual Vikram seth I was talking about now it is time to make your life a living hell” he thought.
