I sat on a sofa in the living room with Roy sitting on my lap as he watches his power rangers, while I check emails on my phone. 

I hear footsteps and raise up my head, it's Fred. 

I watch him head towards the kitchen, just then Eva steps out of the kitchen and they both walked past each other as if they're strangers.

They didn't utter a word to each other or even exchange greetings. 

It has been this way for two weeks, since Jason died in that fire.
