Elise's POV

I don't know what possessed me to kiss him back. Maybe it was the adrenaline still coursing through my veins or maybe it was the fear that if I stopped moving, or maybe it was just him.

Ravien Drayton, the man every woman in Verya talked about. He was ruthless, dangerous and devastatingly handsome. And right now, he was kissing me.

His hands moved to my waist, pulling me closer despite the awkward angle in the car. This was wrong, but I didn't care.

"Come here," he murmured against my lips,

Before I could process what he meant, his hands were on my hips, lifting me. I gasped as he pulled me over the center console and onto his lap and my dress rode up my thighs as I straddled him.

"Better," he said.

His hands slid up my sides, and his fingers found the zipper at the back of my dress.

He pulled the dress down my shoulders, exposing my bra, and his eyes darkened even more.

"Beautiful," he whispered, before leaning in to press his lips to my collarbone.

I gasped, my hands gripping his shoulders as his mouth moved lower, trailing kisses down to the swell of my breasts.

He unhooked my bra with practiced ease, and suddenly I was half-naked in this stranger's car, and I should have been terrified or embarrassed or something other than desperately turned on.

His mouth closed over my nipple and I moaned, my head falling back.

"Sensitive," he murmured. "I like that."

His hands moved to my thighs, pushing my dress up higher until it was bunched around my waist. His fingers traced the edge of my underwear, teasing, and I squirmed on his lap.

"Ravien," I breathed, not even sure what I was asking for.

"Tell me what you want, Elise." He said as his fingers slipped beneath the lace, and I gasped.

"Is this what you want?" he asked,

"Yes," I managed to whisper.

He smiled, wicked and knowing, before his fingers found my clit. I cried out, my nails digging into his shoulders as he worked me with expert precision. His other hand tangled in my hair, pulling my mouth back to his in a kiss that swallowed my moans. His fingers moved faster and harder.

"That's it," he murmured against my lips.

The orgasm crashed over me in waves, and I kissed him again, desperate and needy, my hands moving to his belt.

"Are you sure?" he asked, even as his hips lifted to help me.

"Stop asking me that," I said, finally getting his belt undone.

"I want this and I want you.

"Then take what you want." He said

I'd been with Morris for three years. He was the only man I'd ever slept with, the only man I thought I'd ever want. But the way Ravien was looking at me right now, lmade me forget Morris ever existed.

My hands trembled and I finally managed to free him from his pants. When I wrapped my hand around him, he groaned, and the sound sent a thrill through me.

I'd never done anything like this before. Never been this bold, this reckless. But something about tonight, about almost dying, about discovering the man I loved wanted me dead, made me feel like I had nothing left to lose.

"Condom," he said, his voice rough as he reached into the glove compartment.

Of course he had condoms in his car. He was Ravien Drayton, the playboy billionaire. He probably kept them everywhere.

He handed me the small packet, and I tore it open with my teeth, trying to look more confident than I felt. My hands shook as I rolled it onto him, and I was sure he could tell I was nervous.

"Come here," he said, his hands guiding my hips up.

I positioned myself above him, suddenly very aware of what we were about to do. In a car. With a man I'd met less than an hour ago.

"We can stop," he said, and I could hear the strain in his voice.

"If you're not ready..."

"I'm ready," I interrupted.

I removed every other piece of clothing on me and sat on his bulge and when I sank in, we both groaned

God, he felt different. Bigger than Morris, stretching me in a way that made me gasp. For a moment, I couldn't move, could only adjust to the feeling of him filling me completely.

"Okay?" he asked,

I nodded, my eyes closed, taking a breath. Then I started to move.

His hands gripped my waist, guiding me, and soon we were moving together.

I threw my head back, lost in the sensation of him moving inside me.

"Ravien," I gasped, feeling that familiar tightening low in my belly.

"I'm going to..."

"Do it," he commanded, his grip on my hips tightening.

"Come for me again."

And I did. We stayed like that for a moment, both of us breathing hard, tangled together in the driver's seat..

Then I laughed as I couldn't help it. The absurdity of the situation just hit me all at once, and the laugh bubbled up before I could stop it.

"I just had sex with Ravien Drayton in a car," I said, still catching my breath.

"This is insane."

"Probably the sanest thing you've done tonight," he pointed out, pulling back to look at me. "Considering the alternative was getting stabbed by your fiancé."

The reminder of Morris made my smile fade slightly, but I didn't want to think about him right now.

"Thank you," I said softly.

"For this. For helping me forget, even if just for a moment."

"Who says we're done?" he asked, and I felt him twitch inside me, already getting hard again.

My eyes widened. "Already?"

"I have excellent stamina," he said with that infuriating smirk. "And we have all night."

Heat flooded through me at the thought, but before I could respond, a loud knock on the window made me jump.

A flashlight beam came through the fogged glass, and a voice called out,

"Hey! You can't park here! This is private property!"

Oh God. The security!

Panic replaced the haze of pleasure as I scrambled off Ravien's lap, frantically trying to pull my dress back up. My hands were shaking so badly I could barely grip the fabric. The zipper was stuck, my hair was a complete mess, and I was sure I looked exactly like what I was, a woman who'd just been caught having sex in a car.

"Sir! Ma'am! I need you to move this vehicle immediately!"

"Just a moment!" Ravien called out, sounding far more composed than I felt as he tucked himself back into his pants.

I finally managed to get my dress mostly back on, though the zipper was still undone and I was fairly certain my underwear was somewhere on the floor.

"We should go," I whispered, my face burning with embarrassment.

Ravien started the car and rolled down the window just enough to address the guard. "My apologies. We're leaving now."

I kept my eyes down as we pulled out of the parking lot, unable to look at either the guard or Ravien. What had I just done? I'd had sex with a stranger in a car and gotten caught by security

"Where are we going?" I asked when we've been driving for about five minutes.

"My place," he said. "Unless you have somewhere else you'd rather be?"

I shook my head as I was too even embarrassed to talk.

"Then you'll stay with me tonight," Ravien said.

  • Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother   Lines Crossed

Ravien's POVThe moment Elise walked away, I had shoved Sophia back hard."What the hell was that?" I demanded.Sophia smoothed her dress, completely calm. "What? I was just trying to talk to you.""By kissing me?" I asked disgusted."You didn't stop me," she pointed out.She was right. I hadn't. Not immediately, and I hated myself for it."This can't happen again," I said firmly. "Do you understand me?"Sophia's expression hardened. "You're really going to choose her over me? After everything?""There's nothing to choose. You work for me, Sophia. That's all this is." I told her."That's not what you said five years ago." She told me and i froze finally recalling it then.Five years ago when Sophia had first started working for me. I had made a huge professional mistake. I was known as a playboy, but not with people who work with me,it was always with influencial outsiders who had one thing or the other to contribute to my success.I'd interviewed her myself and she was qualified, p

  • Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother   The Hospital

Elise's POVThe last thing I remembered was the headlights, then nothing. When I opened my eyes, everything was white and sterile and I had only gotten to know that it was the hospital and not Heaven after my head rebooted for some minytes. I tried to sit up, but my head spun."Hey, easy." A nurse appeared at my side, gently pushing me back down. "You need to rest.""What happened?" My voice came out rough and dry."You fainted. The car stopped in time, and you weren't hit. But the shock made you collapse." She checked something on a monitor beside my bed. "You've been out for about two hours."Relief washed over me as I realized that I was not hit. The door opened and Ravien walked in, but not with the concern I might have expected. He looked annoyed, his jaw tight as he checked his watch."You're awake," he said flatly. "Good."The nurse looked between us, clearly expecting more emotion from him, but he just stood there, arms crossed."Mr. Drayton, your fiancée needs rest..." She

  • Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother   Close Call

Elise's POVRavien didn't come back to the penthouse that night. I waited up for a while, thinking maybe we'd talk more about what his mother had said, but eventually I gave up and went to the guest room.I couldn't sleep really because every time I closed my eyes, I saw Evelyn's face, the way it had gone pale when I mentioned my mother's name and the fear in her eyes. What did she know about my mother? That was the only question that kept running through my mind. Finally, around dawn, I gave up trying to sleep and got out of bed.The penthouse was silent and empty and I checked, and Ravien's bedroom door was still open, the bed untouched. He hadn't come home at all.I wandered to the kitchen, hoping coffee would help clear my head. I found everything I needed and made myself a cup, but I don't even know where to go because I haven't really gone around the house ever since I got there. I was very cautious of Ravien, and that his really stern eyes scares me a lot.I found the coffee ma

  • Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother   Moving In

Ravien's POVI had my driver drop Elise off at the penthouse the next morning and I didn't bother going with her. I had meetings all day, and babysitting my fake fiancée wasn't on my agenda. When I finally got home around eight PM, she was sitting in the living room, looking uncomfortable and out of place."The guest room is down the hall," I said without preamble, gesturing left. "Second door. Bathroom's also attached. Don't touch anything in my office or my bedroom." I said with my hand pointing towards my bedroom. She stood up quickly. "Okay."I walked past her to pour myself a drink, loosening my tie. It had been a long day, and coming home to find someone in my space wasn't helping."Thank you," she said quietly from behind me. "For letting me stay here."I didn't respond as there was nothing to thank me for. This was a business arrangement. She needed a place to stay until the wedding made it official, and I needed her nearby to control the narrative. My phone buzzed and it wa

  • Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother   The Contract

Elise's POV"Let's get married." That word echoed in my ears again and I just stared at him, my mouth slightly open, trying to process what he'd just said."What?" I whispered again, even though I'd heard him perfectly the first time.Ravien leaned back in his chair, his expression calm, like he'd just asked me about the weather and not proposed marriage to a woman he'd met two days ago."You heard me," he said. "Let's get married."I looked down at the folder in front of me and it says Marriage Agreement. My hands trembled as I flipped through it. It contained legal terms, conditions, clauses about finances and property. This wasn't a proposal, this was a business transaction."Why?" I managed to ask, my voice barely steady. "Why would you want to marry me?"He gestured to my phone lying on the table. "You saw the article and the photo. It's already making headlines. My family is furious, my business partners are questioning my judgment, and the board is using this as ammunition aga

  • Married To My Billionaire Stepbrother   Fueling Her Revenge

Elise's POVI could barely sleep that night as everything that had happened just that night came back flashing on my memory. When morning came, my eyes were already heavy. I'd gotten a simple dress at a boutique near the hotel the night before, nothing fancy, just something to wear since I'd left my apartment with nothing but the clothes on my back. The first thing I reached for was my phone and a message from Morris popped up on the screen. I didn't want to read it at first, my finger hovering over the delete button. But something made me open it."Don't bother going to the house. I sold it. You signed it over to me, remember? I told you I'd take everything from you. Watch me."Another notification followed, it was a scanned copy of a legal document. My own signature at the bottom, dated from months ago. I had signed the house to him some months ago when I still trusted we were going to last forever, and that he'd be my husband after.Tears filled my eyes as I quickly dressed up and
