“I’m glad that you’ve made that decision to support me and the baby but that can be all right?” Miriam stated, her eyebrows arched.

“What else do you want? I already told you that I will take responsibility and be there for the baby.” I explained again.

“And what about me?” She asked.

“And what about you?” I asked back.

She scoffed. “Don’t do that. Don’t act like you don’t have an idea as to what I’m talking about because you know damn well what it is that I’m talking about. You will be there for the baby then what about me? I’m the one carrying the baby so are you trying to say that you don’t give a fuck about me but when I have the baby then you will be there for me?”

“That’s not it. Don’t twist my words. I will support you and the baby but don’t expect more from me.
