Lucy got the drink and went to Diana Lu, who was standing there fuming in anger just waiting for someone to relive her anger.

"Miss Lu… Here is you drink" Lucy gracefully offered the drink but as soon as she turned her face and saw that she finally had her target for the day she swung her left hand in the air and was about to hit her, Lucy lose control over the tray and the whole tray with glasses of wine and other drink fell on her.

Diana was not ready for this… She just wanted to teach her a good lesson and relieve her anger a little but before she could even do anything the nasty girl in front of her had thrown all the drinks on her.

"What. The. Hell?" She clenched her teeth and asked in anger.

"I… I am sorry Miss Lu… I am so sorry… " Lucy quickly bowed her head and apologized like she was really regretting it.

Everyone’s focus was now on them and they were looking for the new drama by Miss arrogant, Diana Lu.

"You… How dare you? How are you going to compensate for my dress and my makeup? You ruined everything" She was now fuming in anger and with so many people watching her she couldn’t probably beat her up.

"I am not going to leave you like that… I am going to make you pay me 10 folds for all the damage"

She said in an angry voice, full of authority.

"Bam" 

Suddenly a sound of Bam came and everyone was shocked and tried to look at the source of the voice.

"I am so sorry Miss… It’s not like I wanted to pour all the drinks on you but when you raised your hands to slap me… I… I was… I really was." 

Lucy went on her knees and started apologizing but it was more like she was telling everyone that she was about to get beaten.

“Miss Lu is this type of a person? I never would have thought about it" One man said in a voice which could easily be heard by anyone.

"Don’t you know already? She is known as a bully… If not for her father.." 

The second person said in the exact tone of voice which could easily be heard.

"She is just an arrogant and bratty lass, spoiled by her father"

"Yes right.. She knows nothing but to make fuss" 

The chattings of people went on which made the Mayor feel very humiliating 'This daughter of mine is really a pain in my ass' He thought to himself and wished that she would not do anything stupid.

"How… How Can I Pay You miss? My total earnings are only six hundred dollars hardly and you seem to be a big miss, if not then why would I be apologizing instead" 

Lucy kept her pace of humiliating her instead of being humiliated "Miss I really am poor and you are so generous can’t you let me go this time?"

Daina’s patience ran off and she bent down to her level and said in a low voice "Just you wait… I will see you out of the banquet" She said in a threatening voice, and walked away.

She had hardly taken 3 or 4 steps when Lucy turned and said 

"Miss… Miss Lu..? What? What do you want me to see out for? I really don’t have money… If I had then I had given you a long ago"

Lucy said her soft and innocent voice and made her look pitiful as much as she could. "Miss… there are the reporters and the people present here are the big shot… How can I possibly lie to you? And"

She stopped and said while wiping her tears which were not even there " You guys are rich… You can buy a new dress for sure but If something happens to me then… then how could my sister live in the house alone" She hid her face with her both hands

She turned her face where the water was decorated in the jar with flower petals kept… She dipped her hands in it, trying her best so that no one could notice but her eyes fell on a man who was watching her with interest but she ignored him and continued with her good act.

She put her wet palm on her face again which made it all wet. After that she removed her hands from her face and acted as if she was wiping her tears with her back hands.

Everyone present there understood that Diana must have threatened her when she bent to her.

"Miss… No worries… Even if you are a common person… How can we possibly let anything happen to you? Rich or poor, each and every life counts and matters" This was the man, who was well known in the reporter's field and was a righteous man.

Lucy snorted and said while bowing her head to him again and again. Thank you… Thank you so much sir… I… I really don’t know how to apologize to Miss Lu, I heard that she has the power to make me disappear from the planet.. What to do? I… I don’t want to be disappeared just yet"

She said and this time her real tears came out of her eyes as if she was really in great agony. 

"I… I really don’t want to die… I… I didn’t do anything wrong then why am I suffering for others? Just why?"

Her tears made such a huge commotion and it was evident that Diana Lu had threatened her with her life. Everyone started commenting at her as to how bad of a reputation she had.

This time, since it had happened in front of everyone… No one was willing to side with Diana because everyone had heard those rumours as well and some of them were even the victim of her brutality and started to come forward and tell all that how they had been suffered in her hands.
