Third-Person POV

Richard watched as his wife scattered everything on the table angrily.

“How could you have transferred ownership to him? How could you have given him 60% ownership without informing me?” She thundered, and Richard sighed, rubbing his forehead.

“There was nothing I could have done; I was deceived by him. I thought he wanted to help us,” he said, and Grace scoffed.

“Help us? Help us! Have you forgotten what we did to Aurora? He would have never let that go! How could you have been so stupid?” She yelled angrily. Richard agreed he was stupid. He failed to see his scheme; he was greedy for money, and now the greed has been used against him. He has lost everything and has no hope of opening a new company. He has been blacklisted. Richard and Grace heard a loud piercing scream, and they immediately rushed out. It was Katie, and she was hysterically crying on the floor, holding her hair.

“What happened?” Grace asked, going to her daughter. Liam sighed; he is the first son

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 57 (Scotland)

Aurora POV“This is serious,” I mumbled, looking at the TV. I was watching my family on the TV, and not only is Katie a nuisance, but my parents are also accused of murder. “You are so engrossed in that TV,” Dad said, sitting beside me. I didn’t take my eyes off it.“I am just so surprised by everything that has been happening. Who did they murder?” I asked, and he breathed out, not saying anything. Over two weeks have passed since we got back to Scotland, and we are settling in nicely. Glasgow is a beautiful city; everywhere is so peaceful. Late-night strolls feel like heaven, with no overcrowded places and noise like the typical NYC I grew up in. This is a perfect place to give birth and raise my baby, and I am afraid if I fall in love with it, I won’t want to go back home. Staying with Dexter and Dad has been amazing; we are like a big family, and I love how I am surrounded by love. We are staying in a four-bedroom duplex, and it’s beautiful and feels just like home. Dad has frie

Aurora's POVDexter turned to Maya, who was staring at the scene, wide-eyed.“Sign the divorce papers and get the fuck out of my office, Maya. As you can see, I am not in the mood for your nagging,” Dexter said, his mood destroyed. Maya’s mouth hung open in shock. “How dare you speak to me like that? I am your mother!” she yelled. “You are not my mother, and what makes you think you can come to me with your divorce papers? It is between you and dad, I have no business in it,” he said, and Maya was appalled. “How can you say this, Dexter? Have you forgotten how I have been with you all your life? What I have done for you? How can you and your father do this to me?” she cried. Dexter chuckled. “I haven’t forgotten all you have done for me at all. The deep love you had for me, I remember it all. But this is not my concern,” he replied, and Maya stood up.“You kicked your brother out of the company, and Julius has thrown us out of the house. We have nowhere to go, and your brother’s wi

Aurora's POV“As seen in front of the Brown’s building. Employees are protesting as the company has further dipped in the stock market. They demand payment of their salaries, which have been outstanding for over three months. Shareholders have dropped the company, and businesses are suing the company. This is not a good time for the Brown Empire,” the newscaster said through the TV while I looked at the chaos happening with wide eyes. I turned to Dexter, and he had a smirk on his face. “You did this?” I asked, and he breathed out, swirling in his chair. “He doesn’t think I am going to let him go for what he did,” he replied, a dark look on his face. I looked back at the TV and saw the workers destroying the building while protesting. They look like an angry mob.“This is not good,” I whispered, unconsciously rubbing my belly. Four months have passed since finding out I am pregnant, and everything has been going beautifully. My baby is healthy, and I am also healthy. I am glad I am n

Dexter POVI looked at Aurora as she placed the gift boxes on the table, sharing them among everyone. It was getting late, and it was time to tell them the good news. The lunch was great, and it was the first time I was having people over at my house. My father was an only child, and my grandparents are dead. My mother had a sibling, but I have no idea where he is or what he is up to. I didn’t grow up with a big family; it was just my dad and I, so having lunch with people was heartfelt. It is the first for Aurora and me. “What’s with the gift boxes?” Dr James asked, looking at the box. I noticed he and Dad have really hit it off. He is like Aurora’s father, and I am happy they have both become friends. He saved me after all with Aurora’s help. “It’s a surprise,” Aurora said, coming back to her seat. She looked at me and chuckled, and I guess by now they are all starting to notice this is not a house-warming party or lunch. “Okay, are you all ready to open it?” She asked, and I sat

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 52 (Weekend Hangout)

Aurora’s POVI smiled, arranging the plates on the table. It was the weekend, and Dexter and I decided to announce to our families the new addition to the family. I invited Dr. James, Luca, Mr. King, and my high school friends, and of course, Darcy. I set up the outdoor place with the chefs whom Dexter hired to get everything ready and also cook the food. Since finding out I am pregnant, Dexter has been highly protective. Doesn’t want me doing anything stressful, worries about my health every second. The morning sickness has been very crazy, I feel tired most time, and I get irritated very quickly. I guess it’s all part of being pregnant. I was so worried about telling Dexter about my pregnancy. We have never really discussed it, and I had no idea if he was ready to be a father or not. But he had surprisingly taken it so well. I never imagined I would be a mother one day or be married. It all feels strange, but I am so grateful I get another chance at life to be truly happy and to be
