Aurora POV

“Who is taking these drugs? It’s dangerous when abused,” he said, cutting into my thoughts. I feel so sad for him. Who wants him dead and why? Dexter might be mean, but I doubt he had done anyone wrong, so why do they want him dead so young?

“Aurora,” he called, and I looked up at him.

“Are you taking them?” he asked, and I quickly shook my head no.

“No, but somebody is feeding this to my husband,” I said.

“I saw you got married to him on TV, but that is not the case right now. They are feeding him the wrong drug; they should be arrested; they are breaking the laws. And why would anyone give this to a perfectly fine man?” he asked. I breathe out.

“You have to help me out,” I said, looking at him.

“How?” he asked.

“Can you help me check for these two drugs?” I asked.

“Sure, that won’t take time,” he said.

“It seems someone wants him dead or permanently useless; he is confined in a wheelchair, and his legs don’t work at all. They are giving him the wrong drugs, and the doctor
