Chapter 01—Marry Me.

Jenny is sitting in front of her boss on the couch for the first time.

Her boss is Austin William, a wealthy, powerful person in the tycoon world in Paris.

He has never shown any interest in the members who are working under him, but today he is sitting with Jenny, who is a babysitter for his twin babies.

Austin picked up the coffee, and as he was gulping a sip of coffee, the nerves in his throat revealed themselves from time to time.

His body is straightened, and his broad shoulders are curling as he is moving his arms.

He gave the coffee to Jenny as well, but she is not taking any advantage,

ge and is waiting for her boss to talk.

“MARRY ME.” He murmured, breaking the silence, and looked at her while keeping the coffee cup on the table.

“What?” She yelled at the top of her lungs while looking at him with wide eyes.

The maids around the place looked at her while stopping their work, such as cleaning the floor and serving the food on the table.

He cleared his throat while peeking around and passing a bossy look, which was enough to make the maid work their things.

Jenny can’t believe her eyes; Austin William is proposing to her for marriage.

She thought for a while that she had misheard.

“What do you say?” She murmured, biting her lips and looking at him with a puppy face.

“Maybe I heard you wrong!” She cracked up.

“I said, marry me!” He tended his body according to her height while bringing her close to him.

Her eyes widened, and a hiccup escaped from her mouth, making a sound.

He shrugged his shoulders while blinking his eyes and crossing his legs, sitting like a king on the couch—the way of his position is just hot.

His darkened eyes and messy hair are making him hot, and the two buttons of his shirt are open, showing his broad shoulders and muscular skin.

“You got me right; marry me!” He sounded while moving his fingers through his hair.

"Are you pranking around me, boss?” She blinked her eyes.

“I don’t prank, and I don’t have a habit of making fun of anyone.” He sounded so husky while placing his hand above the couch.

“I want you to marry me and become the mother of my kids.”

She was taking rapid breaths—she didn’t expect this when he asked her to sit with him to talk about something.

She leans toward the water glass from the table and gulps some water, trying to calm down right now.

“Boss, I don’t understand!” She sighed while placing the water glass back on the table.

“You want me to marry you, but why?”

“We are not compatible with each other.” While saying this, she chews her lips, feeling shy.

“We are not compatible in which way?” He questioned her back while making her look at him.

“I am from a poor family, and you are a billionaire, the king of the business industrialists." She rolled her eyes down and said everything.

“If you marry me, then all my money will be yours.”

She peeked at him in response, and she felt like electricity passed through her body with his words.

“I know you must be feeling strange upon my offer—you have been working in this house for two years, but I have never greeted you.” He cleared his throat while she was pressing her hands together.

"There is a reason for asking you to marry me—my baby girl, Anna likes you very much.”

“I know this is the final year of your graduation and you wanted to quit your job while wanting to concentrate on your studies; I totally understood you.”

“And my baby girl heard us when you were talking to me about quitting the job, and she cried the whole night.” Austin sighed while taking a deep breath.

“What?” Jenny sounded and looked at her with wide eyes. Her heart ached the moment she heard Anna cried for her.

They had a super cute relationship, even though she is just a babysitter—they were like mother and daughter.

“Jenny!” Austin chimed, and goosebumps took over her body while making her shiver.

Austin never called her by her name; rather, he always called her, Hey, come here. Hey, do this and do that, but today, for the first time, her name rolled in his mouth, and she felt super amazing.

She never liked her name “THIS” much before.

“Anna craved her mother’s love, and she cried for her mother every night, but after she met you, she started laughing and playing like other kids.”

“Why are you asking me to marry you? Where is your wife?” She yelled inside—no one knows in this house who Austin’s wife is or where she is.

Jenny always wanted to question him about his wife because Anna cried for her mother sometimes.

“I won’t stop you from doing anything.” He said this while rolling his hand according to his words.

“I will support you in every way.”

“You can continue your studies even after marriage.” He said while bending his body a bit down and placing his hands on his legs.

“I just want one thing from you: give mother’s love to my children.” He showed his finger and looked at her.

She was looking at him the whole time without interrupting.

“Tell me, will you marry me?” He grabbed her attention, making her look at him.

Omg, there is no reason to reject him.

He is smart, handsome, and supportive.

Jenny’s phone beeped when she was about to open her mouth to say something.

“Excuse me!” She tugged her phone out.

“Take your time.” He leaned back, crossing his legs.

The phone popped up, showing the caller’s name— Hospital.

“Hello.” She received the call in a rush.

“Miss, come to the hospital; your mother’s condition is not good– we shifted her to the ICU.”

“WHAT?” Anna shouted while standing up.

“I am coming the right way.” Jenny runs out of the place while ignoring Austin in front of her.

“Hey!” He turned back and looked at her while standing up.

“What the hell happened?” He muttered, caressing his thumb on his forehead.

“Hey.” Austin ran after Jenny and decided not to leave her alone.

Anna came out of the house and looked here and there while searching for the vehicle.

But there are no vehicles around the place because it's only Austin's villa around the decent place.

“Mom!” Her legs started running while thinking about running to the hospital on her own.

She looked back when someone grabbed her hand and pulled her back.

Austin is standing right in front of her with his tall muscular personality, grabbing her wrist.

A tear rolled down her cheek while watching a person, whom she knew ever in this world.

He was looking so cool, and he glimpsed down at her.

"Take a breath." He said while grabbing her shoulders, and she sighed while taking a deep breath.

   "Now tell me what happened?"

"Mom." She sobbed, and the mother's words grabbed his attention.

"Stop crying!" He brushed her tears while sounding soft.

"The doctor said she has a brain tumor and needs emergency surgery." She cried like a baby while making a sound.

"So, I have admitted my mother to the hospital. She was doing well and fine even in the morning, but I just got a call from the hospital that my mother's condition is not good. " She said everything in one breath while crying like a baby.

Austin doesn't say anything, but he grabs her hand and takes her with him toward the car.

She rolls her eyes at his interlocking hand around her wrist, and at the same time, she feels that he is her one and only army.

He opened the door for her like a gentleman while making her sit in the passenger seat.

"Where is the hospital?" He inquired while taking the driver's seat.

She wipes her tears and talks about the hospital's name and location.

He starts the car and drives off—on the other hand, the tears are not stopping falling down her cheeks.

She is sobbing like a baby, looking outside through the window.

Austin looks at Jenny while driving a car.

Soon they reach their destination, but the car stops. Jenny comes out and rushes inside like an Alien, touching the people and losing her balance.

Jenny asked the receptionist about her mother before making her way.

However, she reaches the ICU room—her eyes widen watching her mother struggle inside to stay alive.

Austin ended behind her and looked inside through the window.

The doctors are using machines to wake Jenny's mother up.

Jenny cried out while covering her mouth with her hands and seeing her mother struggling, Austin reach

ed out his hand toward her to tap on her shoulder, but he stopped.

He stepped back instead of comforting her, looking at Jenny — she was crying like a baby.

To Be Continued.
