AURORA POVRyan parked the car in front of a huge mansion. The parking lot was filled with expensive cars — SUVs, limos, and sports cars. It looked more like a celebrity event than a family gathering. AURORA POV “AHHH!!…” I made a battle cry and jumped at him. For one second I imagined myself looking like a fierce warrior charging into battle but in reality I probably looked like a rabid squirrel. I aimed for Ryan's hand but my fingers sliced through the air as he moved away. I fell to my face and kissed the floor. Then, I spat the grass in my mouth. Another thought of how to overpower him crossed my mind. I walked towards the bathroom. I started by splashing cold water on my face. Then I brushed my teeth and washed my body. When I finished, I stepped back into the bedroom and headed toward the closet.
