“So I can’t take your jacket anymore” I playfully pout, as I tightly wrap the scarf around my neck. “Thankfully” he chuckles, he checks the time on his watch, “I think we should start going if we don’t want to be late”

I check the time and I realize what he means; I grab my things and follow him, we walk towards his car, with him opening the door for me as I enter th car. Cete is such a wonderful friend; and I really want him to get married to a woman who’d love and respect him, I know he’d treat her well. But in recent years he’s remained single and every time I approach the subject he just makes light of it.

Cete drives to the movie theater, “is this a new car scent” the car smells different than usual, or maybe it’s just because I’ve not been in his car for a while. We need to go out more often I think to myself.
