Chapter 30: I Don't Want to Love You Anymore

Sadie and Gavin were in a passionate embrace for quite some time downstairs, and Sadie, who usually had a poised and aloof demeanor, was now acting like a sweet and affectionate girlfriend. Cecily was taken aback by the scene. Was this the same woman she knew? It seemed that women in love, even the shrewd Sadie, became somewhat foolish.
