Chapter Nine

BEN's POV

At this point, he was speechless, he knew he was supposed to be excited at the news. If she was pregnant, it would be easier to get her out of the house since he's sure that the pregnancy is not his.

“Doctor, don't you think you're too hasty with the conclusion. You should run a test on her first” I asked, throwing a cold glance at Jane.

All this while, dad seems to have a smile plastered on his face. I wouldn't blame him. It has always been his wish to have a grandchild, except that this time his joy is going to be shortcut.

“Doctor, what are you saying? I have never…..” she quickly cuts herself off, not before I notice the tiny hint of embarrassment in her voice.

There was no need for the pretense. Her type was always shameless and he was going to prove this to everyone once a proper check up is conducted on her.

“Have you had your period this month?” the doctor asked .

She hesitates before shaking her head in response.

“I will take a sample of her blood for the test, be r
