ANASTASIA

“Ana, Ana. Come on, it’s almost nine.”

I yanked the sheets over my head to muffle Maria’s persistent voice. “Jesus Christ, Maria, let me sleep,”

I yelped when the blanket was torn from my body, the cold morning air of the city taking its place.

“Give me back my blanket. It’s so cold,” my words were muffled against the pillow.

“Someone’s here to see you …get out of bed,” maria’s voice dripped with frustration. She was this close to actually hitting me out of bed.

“Tell them to leave,” I muttered, half-awake.

“I raised you better than this, Ana”

“You raised me not to get enough sleep?” she pulled the curtain open, I groaned once the sunlight hit my face.

“To greet your guests and not keep them waiting” she supplied,

“Argh, who the fuck is it?”

“Ana language” she warned.

“Come on, who is it?”

Mr. Blackwood is here.”  That one name makes me jolt out of bed, stumbling to my feet.

“What?!”

Maria—the househelp rolled her eyes.

“He’s downstairs,” she shrugged, it's a common thing for a billionaire to show up in my living room by 9 in the morning.

“What? Get someone to tell him to leave.” i snapped.

“Like anyone would volunteer to be murdered,” Rita said, walking into the room on cue.

“What does he want?” I muttered through a yawn.

I pressed my fingers against my forehead in an attempt to calm down, and dragged my tired feet towards the door.

“Don’t tell me you are going down like that?” Rita commented.

I glanced at the mirror. My hair had formed a nest, my face was puffy, and pajamas were crinkled.

“Like I’d put in effort to get ready for him. He should see me like this, know exactly what he’s getting into. He’s not going to get a princess walking in designer clothes, if that’s what he thinks.”

I walked towards the living room, my eyes immediately found him in the large room. He was leaning on my couch, in a gray suit and a checkered tie. I look like the servant in my own apartment. His expression didn't shift. His gaze flickered to my hair.

“Read the documents and sign them,” he said, glancing at his watch. My gaze drops to the documents on the table.

“You could have just emailed it,” his gaze shifts to me.

“It’s faster if we read it together. Do you have yours prepared?”

I nod. On cue, Rita handed the documents to him. He glanced at me before flipping through them.

“They are unnecessary,” he added, still reading the papers.

“They are my conditions.” I continued reading his papers.

“There’s not going to be a wedding. It’s too much hassle. It’s the same thing, name on paper, that’s all,” I added. I couldn’t imagine myself walking down the aisle with Dominic. He would probably still have a cold expression, even when exchanging vows in front of a million guests.

“Intimacy is permitted in public or in front of a third person only if both parties consent.”

“So I can say no?” I asked, my eyes fixed on him, His jaw tightened.

“Yes,” he said, like the word tastes bad.

“Good” I muttered and continued reading his papers.

“We can live together after marriage.”

“Under the same roof, there's no way we are sharing a bed though” I added, scribbling my signature on the document. He does the same.

Well, that was it. I’m officially married.

Except there were no vows, no ‘I choose you’, no ‘till the end of the world’, just marriage on paper.

To Dominic Blackwood.

I reached up to loosen my shirt when it became difficult to breathe.

His assistant stepped forward, and dropped two matching rings on the table. It looks stunning. The stone sitting on the band was unmistakably a diamond.

“You’re not about to put the ring on my finger?” I asked, my voice dripped with sarcasm. He didn't look up.

He picked up the ring, and slipped it on his finger. I did the same, pausing to look at my finger. It feels heavy against my ring finger, heavier than it was supposed to be.

“Keep your end of the contract,” I added.

“I will send someone to pick you up tonight. It'd be preferable if you don’t bring anything,” he said, standing tall in front of me, his eyes lingering on my outfit.

“Did my sense of fashion hit a nerve?”

“Everything you do affects the Blackwood name, dream like the title you will carry” he explained. I rolled my eyes.

“I will be on my best behavior then, I couldn't possibly be seen with a scandalous outfit,” his eyes dropped to my pajamas, but only for a second, then he adjusted his cuff.

“My assistant will have a copy printed for you.” he said, walking towards the door.

It's undeniable, we are married. It's definitely not a bad dream.

“The marriage is only for a year,” i said more to myself than to him. He didn’t reply, just kept walking.

“Everything’s in the contract,” he added. Once he was gone, the room felt empty without the weight of his presence.

“I wonder how you talk to him,” Rita muttered, releasing the breath I'm sure she had been holding.

“He is an asshole,” my eyes glued to where he had been. He hadn't changed much from when we were seven. He still left the room empty once he was gone.

***

Immediately after i get to the confines of my room, and I dropped onto the bed. A sigh escaped me as I scroll through my phone. I paused, my finger hovering over the screen, over a picture on the screen of the same man who had once gotten down on one knee, confessing his undying love for me, but with his arms around another woman, staring at her like only she existed.

My grip tightened around the phone.

My supposed fiancé,

the man my father had trusted everything with. The photo felt like a slap from reality.

I switched to my messages, scrolled through the thousands of unread messages from my mother flooding the screen. Each one a thousand reason why I should crawl back to the man who walked into another woman’s arms.

My eyes drifted to the ring sitting on my ring finger, the diamond reflected a faint glow under the lighting of the room.

It sat there, mocking me.

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Disgusting fucker

ANASTASIA I walked into the room, pushing the door close behind me. I leaned against the close door, my damp panties still folded in my palm. I came here so I can at least reach out to Marcus. But I have only succeeded in two intimate moments with Dominic which included giving him a blow job and him eating me out. But at least I was alone now, If only I can find a telephone or something with network connection in this room, I glanced around. My eyes fell on the telephone sitting on the side of the drawer. Perfect. I had Rita's number memorized if I could get her to find Marcus's number for me or any information about him without coming out as desperate. (She picked the telephone out but as she picked it up the wire fell, she glanced down at it, the wire had been cut cleanly from the device, as if it was done with a scissors. I glared at the wires scattered on the floor. Dominic knew why I was here, he was only enjoying watching me chase and struggle, he had no plan of

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    My turn

ANASTASIA I stared at my reflection in the mirror, water still dripping from my chin. I splashed more onto my face but my cheeks were still fucking red. I leaned against the sink, fingers gripping the cold edge. My back still burned where his finger had slipped under the strap. That bastard. What the fuck is wrong with me. What he had done out there was no less than making out in public. What if someone had seen? The toilet door clicked open. I turned. Dominic stood there. Those blue cold eyes locked onto mine, but he didn’t look like his usual cold facade. His gaze slid over me slow, hungry. His hair looked like he’d run his hands through it. Then he moved. In two steps he was inside the toilet and his mouth smashed against mine. Hard and rough. My hands flew up around his neck just to keep myself from falling. His tongue shoved into my mouth, hot flesh sliding over mine, mixing our saliva like he was trying to own every inch of it.His hands then slid further up my thi

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Not part of the plan

ANASTASIA I moved towards the table and as I neared the seat, Dominic stood up first and pulled a seat, holding it for me. My eyes darted to meet his and his lips tugged upwards in a fucking smirk. I bit down on my lip and looked away, sliding into the seat. “Oh hey Anastasia, you finally joined us,” said Ramon with a smile on his face. I bit the inside of my cheek. I would have thought that damn smile was genuine if I didn’t almost get raped and then fucking killed in his garden by his henchmen. “Thank you for having me,” I forced a smile. The only thing pleasant on this table was the food laid out on the table. The woman beside Ramon snugged closer to his arm, putting more peeled crabs into his plate. She wasn’t the same woman at the party; it took him a span of two weeks to replace that woman. All the men in the Blackwood family were a bunch of fucking bastards, including the one who never missed an opportunity to shove his cock in my throat. “Where’s mother?” asked

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Trauma

ANASTASIA I followed the maid out of the suite and down the corridor. I bit down on my lip.I’d have to face Dominic after what happened. I’d also have to face the whole family of nutcases at the same fucking table.I released a breath. The hallway didn’t seem to end no matter how long I walked. I could feel the yacht moving as I walked.Halfway up the wooden stairs to the deck, I saw Alicia standing at the top.As I stepped closer, my eyes widened. She was leaning against a man’s chest, his arms encircled around her waist, holding her against him, his face buried in her hair. And that man definitely wasn’t her husband.I recognized him as the same guard I had seen her with at the party. They were far closer than employer and employee should have been. His hand rested low on her waist, fingers splayed possessively, digging into her side, while she leaned into him without the slightest hint of hesitation, her lips curved in a smile.“You can go,” I said to the maid without taking my e

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Get my wife

**ANASTASIA**I glanced at my hand, still glistening with my cum, and felt more of it sliding down my thighs.Did I just cum from gagging on my own fingers? This was so fucking messed up. I enjoyed choking on his cock, so much I had to do it to myself to come."Am so fucked" I cursed again.I need a fucking shower. I stayed against the door until my breathing finally evened out, then stripped the rest of my clothes away and stepped into the shower.I stepped into the tub, dipping my tired body into the warm water, trying to wash the taste of him out of my mouth and the slickness from between my legs. When had I forgotten about what happened at the airport? Was it when he shoved his cock down my throat, or immediately after he had told me to get on my knees?I exhaled, leaning against the bathtub. This was the second time I had touched myself because of Dominic fucking Blackwood. It wasn’t normal. I wasn’t normal. I bit down on my lip. Signing the sex clause might have been the worst

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Fucked

**DOMINIC**I stepped out first. The second the door opened the noise hit. Shouts, camera shutters, the flash of phones.Anastasia followed right after me, pulling her coat tighter around her body, like nothing had happened in the back of that car. Her cheeks flushed red and her lipstick from earlier was gone from her lips. It’d be a miracle if her makeup survived that.I noticed a small, pale white stain on the front of her shirt, just below the collar. My cum.If only the cameras and reporters here knew her fucking shirt was stained with my cum and she’d just sucked my balls in this same car while they waited outside, they’d missed the biggest scandal when it was right in front of them.I stepped in closer to her and laced our fingers together. She glanced around then clasped her fingers in mine.I kept her hand in mine and cut straight through the crowd. Bodies parted by the guards leading in front of us.We moved as one line—my grip firm, her steps matching mine—until we reached t

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Why did you kiss me?

ANASTASIA The car smells like leather, and the faint cologne of the man seating in front of me. My heart is thumping so hard I swear I hear my ribcage crack. The limo feels too tight, my knee pressed against Dominic's. I shift, in an attempt to gain space between us. Dominic's tapping his finge

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    My wife

ANASTASIA“He just has to show up late, dosen't he” I whisper, glancing toward the entrance—no sign of Dominic. The hall is huge, flooded with people. I feel painfully out of place, maybe because I’ve avoided them for so long. Everyone has something to say about me.Hushed whispers about me, yet lo

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Not the man I married

ANASTASIAI stare up at the mansion in front of me, it’s huge, the building standing tall, representing power and everything the owner stands for. The air carries the faint smell of rain, old money, and fresh roses from the garden surrounding the mansion. The building reminds me of him: tall, big,

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Marry me?

ANASTASIA“Marry me, Miss Brooks,” Dominic says, like he’s offering me an invitation to a soap opera.I stare at the contract in front of me, as if staring hard enough would make it somehow disappear, turn into something that isn’t a marriage contract to the most condescending person on earth – Dom
