Not the man I married

ANASTASIA

I stare up at the mansion in front of me, it’s huge, the building standing tall, representing power and everything the owner stands for. The air carries the faint smell of rain, old money, and fresh roses from the garden surrounding the mansion. The building reminds me of him: tall, big, and distant, the obvious lack of color around the building except for the roses at the side.

Parked at the side is Dominic’s sleek black Bentley.

I drag my suitcase toward the building, typing a reply to Rita’s thousands of texts.

I press the doorbell, tapping my fingers impatiently at my side. No reply. I raise my hand to press it again, but the door swings open before my finger lands.

Dominic stands near the doorway, except he doesn’t look like the cold, distant man in a suit I married.

Standing near the doorway, fresh from the shower, the faint scent of his body wash in the air, droplets of water drip down the wet strands of his hair, down his chest, sliding lower, a towel draped around his neck.

What catches my attention is the dark ink on his skin—tattoos trailing down his arms…

“Come in,” his cold voice breaks through my thoughts, forcing my eyes to look anywhere but at his chest.

“Took you long enough,” I comment, my voice coming out softer than intended.

He pulls the door open wide enough for me to walk past him, my shoulder brushing against his chest.

The inside is bigger than I expected. My eyes immediately fall on a 6-year-old photo of him, his gray eyes looking at me through the portrait, cold and distant.

“Follow me,” he adds, walking up the stairs. I drag my suitcase after him, the wheels hitting against the tiles of the stairs as I struggle to drag it further up. He simply glances at me, walks back, and carries it from me, his biceps flexing as he carries it up the stairs with more ease than I imagined.

His shoulders broader than they look in a suit. His hair is longer than it looks when it’s styled back. My cheeks heat up when I realize what I’m doing.

I walk closer behind him, keeping my eyes glued on the stairs rather than on his back.

“Show her to her room,” he says to a girl in a black maid’s uniform. She keeps her head down, but I notice the familiar redness on her cheeks, she’s surely been looking at him, at those biceps and ridiculously big muscles. For someone who sits behind a desk all day. It stirs something bitter in me.

The girl glances at me, her expression shifting into a subtle frown, which flashes by like it was never there. She keeps her head lowered instead.

He shifts his gaze to me, as if silently telling me to follow her instead, he walks away without a word.

The girl drags the suitcase in front, and I quietly follow behind her. She’s pretty, with bright blue eyes and long blonde hair tied neatly in a ponytail, definitely the type of girl a billionaire marries in novels and TV shows. Too bad the man she has a crush on is a robot.

I don’t try to start conversations with her, I’m only here for a year. Then she can go back to looking at her boss with dreamy eyes and blush-stained cheeks.

She continues walking, leading me deeper until we reach the bedroom. She pushes the door open. The room is enormous, with a massive bed, the walls painted a dark shade of gray, cold and distant. Of course they are. Everything around him screams distance and emptiness.

She leaves the room quietly, the door clicking softly after her. I let out a tired sigh, my mind drifting to Dominic, a little too easily.

He is my only option.

The only escape I can choose, rather than my own family. A staged marriage with him, the man I am supposed to hate.

“My life feels like a fucking TV show,” I muse, letting out dry laughter.

I pull myself up, walking toward the window. The view over it is beautiful: the sun reflecting on the mansion, giving it a golden ambiance, the roses resembling small red dots. I easily spot Dominic by the mansion. He has a shirt on, but it still doesn’t help hide the outline of his muscles. He’s holding a file, talking intently with his assistant. If there’s one thing I’d give him credit for, it’s building his whole life around work.

**

That night. At dinner.

The sound of cutlery against the plate cuts through the room. I glance around, but there’s no staff in sight, just the two of us. Dominic sits at the head of the table.

I stab my fork into the lettuce on my plate. Every bite tastes blander than the last.

“Matteo’s party is Saturday,” he says, dabbing the napkin against his lips and leaning back in the chair, his eyes boring into mine.

Matteo is one of the big names in the industry. There’s no doubt my so-called fiancé will be there, and so will his mistress.

“I’m not going.”

“You are,” he cuts in.

I set my fork down, too loudly for my own liking. My hands curl around the tablecloth.

“You don’t get to decide that for me,” I say through my teeth.

“I do when your absence becomes my problem,” he leans forward, his elbows on the table. He continues, “From now on, what you do affects the Blackwood name.”

“So this is damage control.”

“This is strategy,” he adds.

“It’s unnecessary.”

“It is.”

“Congratulations, but my image isn’t exactly redeemable,” I taunt.

“Hiding won’t make it better,” he says. I lean forward.

“And why should I do what you say?” His lips twitch slightly.

“You will,” he stands, chair scraping against the floor. “Because you don’t want to be seen as the heiress who couldn’t keep anything.” His words strike harder.

I don’t answer. My fists harden.

“Don’t be late,” he adds. “The address will be sent to you.”

He walks away, leaving his plate half-finished.

The silence envelopes me, my fingers still gripping the tablecloth.

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Fix your eyes

DOMINIC I held her legs apart. She was stretching them open for me, knees pulled up, skirt already hiked to her stomach. I kept applying the ointment, rubbing it over the dark bruises on her inner thighs. My eyes moved up. Soft tits under her top, then her lips. She wasn’t looking at me. She was looking at the driver. My jaw clenched. Even in a situation like this, her attention was on him instead of me. I raised my finger and brushed it over her clit. She gasped and immediately turned to me. I looked down at her panties. They were soaked. Her eyes snapped up and she glared at me. “How should I feel,” I said, “watching your panties get wet while I apply ointment on you?” “It’s your fault,” she said. “Why would you brush your finger there?” I brushed my finger there again. She tried to push me off her, but I caught her hand and held her steady by the knee. She glared up at me. I pinned her thigh, pushed her panties aside, and dragged my finger over her cl

**ANASTASIA**The yacht eased against the dock.I stood at the top of the stairs and looked down. The wood was dark and wet from the tide, ropes thick and coiled along the edge, a few gulls circling overhead. The air smelled of salt and diesel. Guards moved ahead of me, carrying the suitcases down in a neat line. My eyes fell on Dominic's suitcase and I wondered if the gun was still in there or if he had it on him. I started down. My legs felt wobbly. As my thighs brushed against each other under my skirt, they stung. I winced and my balance slipped. Before I could fall, Dominic’s hand locked around my arm and hauled me up. My face ended up mashed against his chest. I glanced up. Our eyes met. He smelled like mist and shower gel. I looked away fast. Those same fucking eyes had seen me finger myself and come with my thigh covered in his cum. I had become such a sex deranged freak, for some one who claimed to have more experience than him.I bit down on my lip and stepped ont

**ANASTASIA**I glanced down at my thigh, at the white sticky cum dripping down them. How am I supposed to walk out with my thigh dripping with cum, and even the floor stained with cum.Knock Knock.I bit down on my lip. Fuck, if someone walks in and sees this mess, they’d think of me as some slut left on the toilet to clean up after his cum.“Mr. Blackwood sent me here to clean up the mess.” My breath hitched. The mess that was the cum-stained floor.I grabbed a tissue and quickly wiped as much from my thigh as I could. I pulled the door open and, without glancing at the maid, started walking down the hall towards my room. That was so embarrassing. Didn’t he feel the least bit ashamed asking a maid to clean his cum off the floor? But then again, that’s the same man that groped my breasts in front of his family.I pulled the door open and immediately made my way to the bathroom.I was taking my second bath of the day in less than seven hours after the first.I locked the door, strip

ANASTASIAMy hand tightened around my fork. I’d rather use it to stab the man sitting beside me than use it to eat.I glanced at Dominic. His expression remained cold as he sipped his coffee, but his hand on my waist was halfway into my crop top.I looked around the table. It didn’t seem like his family noticed at all. Ramon and Georgia weren’t at the table today. Not that I wanted to talk to the old witch.I bit down on my lip when his finger brushed the underside of my breast.Fucking idiot.“Don’t you like the food?” Alicia asked Dominic, her brows furrowed in concern. Of course he couldn’t eat properly with his right hand groping my breasts.“You should eat, honey,” I said through clenched teeth. He glanced at me and smiled. Then he leaned over under the pretense of reaching for the vegetables.“Are you wet again?” he whispered. My breath hitched. I glared at him. He only smiled and leaned back, his hand finally falling away from my crop top.Yesterday was an accident. I wouldn’t

**ANASTASIA**I heard the door open and then close quietly. I heard footsteps walking toward the bed. I clutched the sheets tighter around myself.Dominic.I couldn’t see what he was doing, but he stood at the bedside for a while, staring at my feet, and then he reached over the drawer. My breath hitched loudly before I could stop myself.I hoped he hadn’t heard that. I closed my eyes tight, bit down on my lip, waiting to hear his footsteps leaving, but then I felt the sheets being yanked off my body.I held my breath. What was he doing?I wasn’t wearing any panties beneath the night dress because I had been in a hurry to get in bed before Dominic returned.I felt exposed like this. I bit down on my lip. Then I felt his fingers slide between my legs and pull my pussy lips apart.I gasped and shot up from the bed, scooting away to the edge of the bed.“What the fuck is wrong with you?!”He stared at me with a smile like he hadn’t just shoved his hands between my legs while I was asleep

  • Marry me; The Billionaire's contract    Trapped

**ANASTASIA**I pulled the door open and stepped into the room, my eyes immediately falling on Alicia’s guard standing by the door.I exhaled in relief. “You really came.”“You didn’t give me much of a choice.” He shrugged.Dominic could come back at any moment. If he saw me with him, he might as well behead me.I rushed to the door and clicked the lock. The security wasn’t tight on the halls, considering they were in the middle of the ocean and the chances of being kidnapped or shot here were low. It was probably easy to sneak in here, but the guards did take rounds around the halls a few times.“Did you make sure no one saw or followed you?”He nodded. “I have twelve minutes before the next patrol.”Twelve minutes was barely enough time. I hurried over to the suitcase. In my hurry to pull everything out, the gun slipped free and landed on the floor. The guard’s eyes immediately fell on it.“Do not—”“It’s not the first time I’ve seen a billionaire own a gun,” he said casually.I bre

ANASTASIA The car smells like leather, and the faint cologne of the man seating in front of me. My heart is thumping so hard I swear I hear my ribcage crack. ANASTASIA “Ana, Ana. Come on, it’s almost nine.” I yanked the sheets over my head to muffle Maria’s persistent voice. “Jesus Christ, Maria, let me sleep,” I yelped when the blanket was torn from my body, the cold morning air of the city taking its place.“Give me back my blanket. It’s so cold,”
