Mona knew something was wrong right away when she went outdoors that night. People around her seemed to be pointing at her without her knowing, but once she looked their direction, they would move away and act like nothing had happened.

She was ready to go to the store when Conan  called and told her to stop. "Don't go out; someone has put your address online! Stay home; I'm on my way to grab you right now!” Conan’s  voice was full of urgency, which made it evident that the issue was serious.

Mona also seemed sad. It would be difficult for anyone on the  internet to find her address in such a short amount of time, unless someone leaked it on purpose. It wasn't hard to figure out who it might be.

She didn't want to fight fate, so she turned around and headed back. But then two men who looked sketchy stopped her. Their eyes moved over her body without shame. "You're the mistress, right? You do appear interesting.”

"How about having some fun with us?" One of them made a lewd face.

Mona looked about and saw people excitedly taking out their phones to record and whispering to one other, but no one appeared willing to help. She even heard someone say things like "mistress" and "serves her right." Her brows furrowed, and she rapidly hit a certain location on her phone with her fingers.

"Leave me alone." She  yelled at the two troublemakers. But they seemed to enjoy her scolding, even laughing at it.

"Don't worry; we won't let you down physically, even if we can't match Mr. Cox wallet." One of them scowled and reached out to touch her face.

Mona quickly pulled out a sharp small blade from her jeans pocket . She then stabbed the man in the palm with it. He yelled in pain as blood poured forth.

"You damn witch!" he yelled as he reached for her.

Mona moved too quickly for him, taking the knife out of his hand and stabbed the other one.

His friend saw what was going on and seized Mona’s wrist.

Bang!

A strong kick slammed the man's chest and sent him flying before she could do anything. She was dizzy and found herself in familiar arms.

"Leo?" She gasped in shock when she saw the man in front of her. Wasn't he supposed to be away on business?

Leo’s  face was cold as he told the others behind him, "Beat them up and take them to the police station."

A group of tall, sturdy bodyguards came out and promptly walked over to the two troublemakers. The hooligans yelled after a while.

Mona’s face didn't change even though Leo had saved her. She wouldn't have had to go through this humiliation if it weren't for his prior love. She turned away from him, ready to depart, but he stood in her way, his expression dark. "Are you still going to be stubborn?"

Leo’s address being made public was a big risk for her.

"Mr. Cox doesn't need to worry about my fiancée." Conan said as he walked to where they stood that moment. He put his arm around Mona, and talked to Leo.

Leo snorted, "Is this how you treat your fiancée?"

Conan couldn't even stop a trend on i*******m. When did the Gray Group stop being useful?

Conan held Mona’s hand tighter and said, "No need for your concern." After that, he left with her.

"Mr. Cox..." Nate said, coming up carefully because he saw that Leo was upset. He said in a low voice, "Are you okay, Mr. Cox?”

Leo looked at him coolly. "I’m fine.”

Nate said something fast and then ran off to make a call. Leo’s brows narrowed as he watched Mona and Conan walk away.

"Sydney, you now have more than thirty  million i*******m fans!" Tara, Sydney’s agent, and Gina, her assistant, were watching the number of fans grow in Sydney’s  makeup room. They were all smiling from ear to ear.

At first, they simply wanted to deal with Mona, but this unexpected gain was a nice surprise!

Sydney saw her beautiful reflection in the mirror and smiled. "Ask Margot to come and do my makeup to make me look more haggard. It's time for me to look bad.”

She was determined to finally get Mona nailed to the pillar of shame! And Gina went to call Margot.

At that moment, Margot, the makeup artist, rushed in with an odd look on her face and gave Tara her phone.

Tara’s face altered all of a sudden, and she stared at Sydney with doubt.

Sydney’s  heart sank, and her face plummeted. "What's going on?"

Tara thought about it for a second before giving Sydney the phone. The top trending topics on i*******m were #SydneyHarlow, The Real Mistress# and #SydneyHarlow Shameless#, among others.

Sydney  took a deep breath and hurriedly clicked to see the information, but her vision went black. She was convinced that Mona would never tell anyone about her marriage and divorce from Leo, so Sydney  had the guts to lead everyone to believe that Mona was a mistress.

Mona had married into the Cox family in a dishonest way, after all. But she didn't care about the risks. She posted their marriage and divorce documents on i*******m and even kept images of the allegations about Sydney and Leo at the time.

People had been saying that Sydney and Leo were dating long before they got divorced. Now, Sydney  herself had unexpectedly become the "mistress."

{Gross. The actress, who is also the true mistress, is accusing other people! How bold can she be?}

{How dare she? Calling the wife a mistress to her face?}

{She's the best actress for a reason!}

People on the internet who had been terrible to Mona were now twice as mean to Sydney.

Sydney looked at the comments  on her phone, shouted, and tossed it hard to the ground.

•••

On the other end, Mona  observed as people's opinions changed in her favor. Almost everyone was now pointing their arrows at Sydney, except for her die-hard admirers. Some people even went to message her directly  to say they were sorry.

Mona didn't care about these people who were on the fence. She thought that if Sydney  hadn't been so stupid, she wouldn't have bothered with her. She wasn't worth it.

Sydney took down her post.

Conan had been keeping an eye on things online, and when he saw Sydney  delete the post and other marketing accounts follow suit, he knew it was her doing.

Mona remarked coldly, with a smirk on her face, "She was sure I wouldn't dare offend Leo or the Cox family and would just accept this unfairness.”

Maybe Mona would have done so if she had been Miss Hunt in the past. But now she was different; she not only refused to consume it, but she also made it known to many people.

Grandpa Eric suddenly called Mona while she was discussing with Conan. He inquired, "Did you do this today?" His voice had a hint of remorse in it.

Mona nodded and replied sure, not trying to denie it from Grandpa because she couldn't.

Grandpa took a long time to say, "The Cox family was wrong in the past, and I apologize to you."

Mona  stopped talking when she heard what he said. She didn't think that Grandpa would say sorry for his grandchild at his age. He wasn't the one who should have said sorry. Her heart felt a little bad as she hung up.

Grandpa was the only member in the whole Cox family who had ever been nice to her.

Sydney finally lost it after going through so much and went looking for Leo with tears in her eyes.

"Leo?" She gripped her stomach and cried, "I didn't mean to. I just wanted to make things clear for you.”

Leo threw his pen down and leaned back in his chair, saying, "I found the paparazzi. He said he got paid to take such images. What do you think? Can we find out where the money came from?”

Mona couldn't say anything. She had always knew her kids were smart, but she didn't think they would come up with a plan like this. She paused for a bit before calling Fred on video. After searching all day for the missing kids, he finally felt better when he saw their naughty faces. Benita wasn’t around, if not the kids wouldn’t have escaped easily.Luke and Rue felt bad when they saw their butler’s tired, worn-out countenance. Mona said in a serious voice, "Mr. Jenner and the workers at the villa have been looking for you all day because you snuck out. They have only just now been able to relax.”The kids looked down. “You may tell Mr. Jenner, and apologize to him,” Mona’s voice got more and more serious as she said, "Don't sneak back without saying anything and making everyone worry about you." Luke and Rue’s round eyes filled with tears, and they said sorry to Mr. Jenner in childlike voices. Mr. Jenner quickly calmed the kids down and then hung up. Conan rushed to calm the

Mona’s hands shook as she switched to a new phone and called Fred right away. "What do you mean by that? Luke and Rue are gone? Didn't you keep an eye on them all the time? How can they be gone? What do you mean by "missing"?” She asked Fred a lot of questions all at once, and he didn't know where to start. All he could do was groan. He could see that Miss Hunt was worried about the two kids, and now that they were gone, how could she not break down?Fred, who felt helpless, told the police what had happened to the kids. That day, they were due to attend piano lessons, but Rue suddenly announced she didn't feel well before the class started. The nanny quickly called the family doctor, but when she got back, the kids were gone. They had turned the whole mansion upside down, but they couldn't find any signs of them. The villa's staff members' names had been checked several times, and the villa's security had been raised to the maximum level. Nobody could get in without being seen. She

Sydney’s face went pale, and she rushed forward. "I..."She felt uneasy as Leo’s eyes seemed to see through everything. She avoided them and stammered for a long time. "The day she came back, and your eyes were always on her. I was confused and just..."Leo looked at the mark on Sydney’s arm and didn't say anything for a long time. Then he said, "This is the last time." Sydney quickly nodded, and her eyes blinked. Some things she didn't have to deal with; other people could do them for her. Leo called Nate and told him to take down the post about her that was trending today. "Are you just getting rid of the trending news?" Sydney was worried, "People are calling me a homewrecker online, and a lot of clients are demanding money from me choosing another actress instead,” Sydney said, "Do you want our unborn child to be called illegitimate?" When she saw that Leo still didn't say anything, but he looked at her earnestly. Sydney bit her lip hard since she knew there was no wa

Mona’s heart almost broke when her tiny baby girl gazed at her, and she murmured softly, "One more month at most, then I'll come to see you, okay?" Rue’s eyes showed a tinge of disappointment, yet she still agreed like a child. Luke, who had been seated next to Rue, eventually spoke up after his sister and mother were done chatting. He said in a bossy voice, "Are you in trouble over there? Do you need me to step in and help?”Mona laughed, but she knew her young boy well enough to say, "Don't worry, I can handle the problems here. Okay, if something really hard comes up, I'll ask for your help.”Luke hummed in agreement. He was already a five-year-old little man who wanted to take care of his mother and sister. Mona didn't want to finish the video connection after having a nice discussion with her two kids. As soon as she hung up, Williams called and said, "Miss Hunt, Mr. Cox is out of the country on business. Harmony Pierce, the Cox Group's deputy general manager, will take over

Leo gazed at her for a second, then added, "The Gray family is not right for you. Get away from Conan Gray.”Leo pulled out his checkbook and started writing as he spoke? "How much money do you need? I'll give it to you.”He didn't think she could really care about Conan. For him, it was all about the money. Mona instantly laughed when she heard what Leo said. "Do you have twenty billion dollars?" Leo stopped writing and looked at her with a frown. Mona knew what he meant without saying anything: don't be ungrateful. She would have been worried about his look if it had been in the past, but now she wasn't. "Five years, and you haven't gotten any better, Mr. Cox. What more can you do besides tossing money around?” She stood up and hissed. The two faced each other across the coffee table in the peaceful villa, and for a minute, the mood grew strained. Leo glanced at Mona, who was pointing swords at him, and he felt a peculiar emotion rising in his heart, as if this version of her w
