Sydney’s  face went pale, and she rushed forward. "I..."

She felt uneasy as Leo’s  eyes seemed to see through everything. She avoided them and stammered for a long time. "The day she came back, and your eyes were always on her. I was confused and just..."

Leo looked at the mark on Sydney’s  arm and didn't say anything for a long time. Then he said, "This is the last time."

Sydney  quickly nodded, and her eyes blinked. Some things she didn't have to deal with; other people could do them for her.

Leo called Nate and told him to take down the post about her that was trending today.

"Are you just getting rid of the trending news?" Sydney  was worried, "People are calling me a homewrecker online, and a lot of clients are demanding money from me choosing another actress instead,” Sydney said, "Do you want our unborn child to be called illegitimate?"

When  she saw that Leo still  didn't say anything, but he looked at her earnestly. Sydney  bit her lip hard since she knew there was no way to change his mind, and she fled. Her face went utterly dark as soon as she walked out the door.

“Mona Hunt! I’ll make you pay.” Sydney murmured in anger.

"The news that was trending is gone." Conan  glared at Mona.

The news going away at this time could only signify that Leo had stepped in. Conan said, "He is willing to spend money on that woman.”

Conan initially was going to phone and have the news pushed to the top, but Mona stopped him. She didn't seem to care. "Not necessary. Continuing this now will just ruin Sydney’s  reputation, so why spend money?”

Mona had learned the most from being around Benita Shaw for so long: how to be patient. There would come a day when Leo couldn't defend Sydney  anymore, even if he wanted to.

Conan studied Mona’s  face intently, then leaned back and murmured, "Okay! Let me know when you're ready to do something. I don't care if I can help you or not; I just can't stand how rude she is to a homewrecker.”

Mona  looked at him and chuckled. They both assumed this was the end, but that night the Hunt family posted online looking for Mona. They said she had been gone for five years and that they missed her very much. They asked her to return home.

Many people on the internet were moved by the emotive message and started sharing it and tagging Mona as if it were a love tale.

Mona gazed at the words on the computer. They didn't impact her at all; they made her angry instead. The Hunt family, who nevertheless dared to make noise.

"The Hunt family never does anything for no reason. There's got to be more to come after this post," Mona  said as she called Williams and told her PR Department to keep an eye on things online.

Not long after the Hunt family's post, a journalist came to interview them. He talked to Mr. Hunt, Mona’s  father, who looked tired and worried about his daughter.

Mona laughed and said remembering the last time she saw her father and how smug he looked, "The Hunt family is really wasting their talent by not being actors.”

Mr. Hunt talked to the journalist on the TV about how hard it was to raise a child and how much the family missed Mona. He even said that his grandmother had gotten sick from missing her and that he had been so upset that his business had suffered and began to cry gaining the sympathy of the people.

People on the internet started to turn against Mona, saying, {She's made her family suffer for a man.}

{Mona Hunt is bad.}

{Mr. Cox must have divorced her for a good reason.}

Mona observed that people's opinions had changed and laughed without caring.

"The Hunt family has been losing money for the last five years; even their most recent project is having money problems..." Conan  said with a sneer, "It looks like my family's Gray Group isn't important enough for them to think twice before saying stupid things."

The interviewer asked Mr. Hunt about Mona prior marriage to Leo, and he spoke in a way that made people question why Leo had even married Mona.

{ I heard that Miss Hunt used tricks to marry into the Hunt Family, and Sydney  is Leo’s  true love.}

{So, Miss Hunt is the one who broke up the home?}

After the show, the PR Department contacted to talk about how it will affect Mona.

{People are starting to turn against you on the internet," remarked Manager Ace, the PR Manager, with worry.

Mona’s  gaze got colder when she figured out who was behind the Hunt family's acts. Sydney Harlow.

Mona didn't know how much Sydney had spent to induce the Hunt family to act so strongly.

"Someone will definitely leak more information soon. When you do, keep it to yourself, and I'll send you some more information later..."

The PR Manager interrupted Mona in shock before she could continue her sentence. “Something unexpected had happened. Miss Hunt, someone told the Gray family about your relationship as a fiancée to Mr. Gray, and now they're involved!"

Conan’s  phone rang right after that, and he could hear his father's angry voice. The other person stated something Conan didn't understand, and he impatiently told them. "Stop talking to me about those useless things. We might as well pack up and leave if the Gray Group can't handle even this news.”

Conan  hung up the phone in a rage, and Mona said, "You should go back first; I can handle the Hunt family business."

Conan didn't want to go, saying, "The Gray family will be fine without me. Do you truly think that the Gray Group can't handle this problem?”

Mona smiled a little and said, "You should know that  Zenith Group can handle this problem with ease."

Conan got it at last. Today, Mona  was not the weak girl she used to be. She would never be wronged as long as she had the Zenith Group support. He could only groan and get up. "Okay, I still need to keep the Gray Group to deal with Leo."

Mona didn't say yes or no. When Conan left, her phone started ringing right away.

Fred Jenner, the butler in France, said. "Miss Hunt! Luke and Rue are gone!"

Mona’s  phone tumbled to the ground with a crash and broke into pieces.

    Mona couldn't say anything. She had always knew her kids were smart, but she didn't think they would come up with a plan like this. She paused for a bit before calling Fred on video. After searching all day for the missing kids, he finally felt better when he saw their naughty faces. Benita wasn’t around, if not the kids wouldn’t have escaped easily.Luke and Rue felt bad when they saw their butler’s tired, worn-out countenance. Mona said in a serious voice, "Mr. Jenner and the workers at the villa have been looking for you all day because you snuck out. They have only just now been able to relax.”The kids looked down. “You may tell Mr. Jenner, and apologize to him,” Mona’s voice got more and more serious as she said, "Don't sneak back without saying anything and making everyone worry about you." Luke and Rue’s round eyes filled with tears, and they said sorry to Mr. Jenner in childlike voices. Mr. Jenner quickly calmed the kids down and then hung up. Conan rushed to calm the

    Mona’s hands shook as she switched to a new phone and called Fred right away. "What do you mean by that? Luke and Rue are gone? Didn't you keep an eye on them all the time? How can they be gone? What do you mean by "missing"?” She asked Fred a lot of questions all at once, and he didn't know where to start. All he could do was groan. He could see that Miss Hunt was worried about the two kids, and now that they were gone, how could she not break down?Fred, who felt helpless, told the police what had happened to the kids. That day, they were due to attend piano lessons, but Rue suddenly announced she didn't feel well before the class started. The nanny quickly called the family doctor, but when she got back, the kids were gone. They had turned the whole mansion upside down, but they couldn't find any signs of them. The villa's staff members' names had been checked several times, and the villa's security had been raised to the maximum level. Nobody could get in without being seen. She

    Mona knew something was wrong right away when she went outdoors that night. People around her seemed to be pointing at her without her knowing, but once she looked their direction, they would move away and act like nothing had happened. She was ready to go to the store when Conan called and told her to stop. "Don't go out; someone has put your address online! Stay home; I'm on my way to grab you right now!” Conan’s voice was full of urgency, which made it evident that the issue was serious. Mona also seemed sad. It would be difficult for anyone on the internet to find her address in such a short amount of time, unless someone leaked it on purpose. It wasn't hard to figure out who it might be. She didn't want to fight fate, so she turned around and headed back. But then two men who looked sketchy stopped her. Their eyes moved over her body without shame. "You're the mistress, right? You do appear interesting.” "How about having some fun with us?" One of them made a lewd face. M

    Mona’s heart almost broke when her tiny baby girl gazed at her, and she murmured softly, "One more month at most, then I'll come to see you, okay?" Rue’s eyes showed a tinge of disappointment, yet she still agreed like a child. Luke, who had been seated next to Rue, eventually spoke up after his sister and mother were done chatting. He said in a bossy voice, "Are you in trouble over there? Do you need me to step in and help?”Mona laughed, but she knew her young boy well enough to say, "Don't worry, I can handle the problems here. Okay, if something really hard comes up, I'll ask for your help.”Luke hummed in agreement. He was already a five-year-old little man who wanted to take care of his mother and sister. Mona didn't want to finish the video connection after having a nice discussion with her two kids. As soon as she hung up, Williams called and said, "Miss Hunt, Mr. Cox is out of the country on business. Harmony Pierce, the Cox Group's deputy general manager, will take over

    Leo gazed at her for a second, then added, "The Gray family is not right for you. Get away from Conan Gray.”Leo pulled out his checkbook and started writing as he spoke? "How much money do you need? I'll give it to you.”He didn't think she could really care about Conan. For him, it was all about the money. Mona instantly laughed when she heard what Leo said. "Do you have twenty billion dollars?" Leo stopped writing and looked at her with a frown. Mona knew what he meant without saying anything: don't be ungrateful. She would have been worried about his look if it had been in the past, but now she wasn't. "Five years, and you haven't gotten any better, Mr. Cox. What more can you do besides tossing money around?” She stood up and hissed. The two faced each other across the coffee table in the peaceful villa, and for a minute, the mood grew strained. Leo glanced at Mona, who was pointing swords at him, and he felt a peculiar emotion rising in his heart, as if this version of her w
