I knew it. I just knew that was what I was going to hear.

"I’ll go ahead and clean your bathroom now, sir..." I said politely, forcing the words out with a tight smile.

I gave him a small, respectful nod, just enough to keep things normal, and then walked toward the bathroom, making sure not to meet his eyes any longer than necessary.
