Eunice’s POV

“Hello,” I said the instant my phone rang.

The caller ID showed an unknown number. I guessed it might be a business call. Sometimes, new business associates reached out for the first time from numbers I hadn’t saved yet. That was common.

Even though I had a separate line dedicated to business matters, some associates still called my personal phone when they couldn’t get through on the official line. So, I picked up—only to hear a voice I hadn’t expected: Tyler’s.

A slight smirk tugged at the corners of my lips.

Have you ever been wronged by someone? The kind of betrayal where the person assumed they’d never need you again. That they’d be just fine without you. That you were insignificant. But then reality hits, and it’s that very person who dials your number first—because they realize they were wrong. That you were never replaceable.

I knew this day would come. Deep down, I always knew. So, when I heard his voice, I crossed one leg over the other, leaned back comfortably

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 101 Walk in The House

Tyler’s POVI jumped through the window into the building and immediately closed it behind me so that no one outside would see me. The moment I shut the window, I became aware of how dark the room truly was. The only light earlier had come from the center of the room, filtering in when I opened the window. Now that it was closed again, I was surrounded by an overwhelming darkness that felt alive.Still, that darkness was nothing compared to the fear pounding in my chest. The fear of getting caught. Of doing something wrong and facing the consequences.I didn’t waste time trying to find the light switch. My priority was to locate the door that led out of this room and find wherever it might take me. I needed to move, and fast, but also with caution.Have you ever tried walking through an unfamiliar room with your eyes closed? If you have, then maybe you can imagine the confusion I felt, the hesitation in every step. My hands stretched out in front of me like the eyes I couldn’t use.

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 100 Enter The Compound

Tyler’s POVMr. Tiago had mentioned earlier that Josie always went to her island in the morning. To be with nature, he said. When you think about it, it makes sense. She was retired from her business and had made Eunice assume the role of president. With no work responsibilities left, all she had to do was sleep, wake, exist, and go back to sleep again. In pursuit of this routine, she might decide to travel all around the world. But after she has traveled the world, after she has seen it all, what else is there left to do?I figured it had gotten to that stage for her. Which was why, every morning when she woke up, she went to her island to enjoy nature. Then, by nightfall, she would return home, get into bed, and prepare to repeat the cycle the next day.It was fifteen minutes to 9 p.m. now, and I was still in the rented car, staring at the gate from a distance. It wasn’t that I didn’t know what to do. I did. I also knew that what I was planning was certainly going to work. But I nee

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 99 In Portugal

Eunice’s POVWe landed in Portugal and ordered an Uber.If my mother had known I was coming—or if I had informed her beforehand—she would have arranged a perfectly comfortable ride from the airport to her villa. One of those sleek, luxury vehicles with chilled water bottles and soft jazz playing in the background, waiting to receive me the moment I stepped off the plane. But no. This visit was sudden. Unannounced. Deliberately so.I wanted to catch her off guard, to arrive when she least expected me. Because I strongly believed that when she wasn't prepared, when she didn’t have time to rehearse or fabricate, she would have no choice but to tell me the truth. And not just any version of the truth—the raw, unfiltered one.The flight from Green City to Portugal took approximately eight hours, so we arrived in the evening, just as the city lights began to glow against the dusky sky.As the Uber vehicle cruised through the quiet, polished streets, my phone began to ring. Since I had roami

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 98 The Flight

Eunice’s POV“Hello ma’am, the result is ready,” said Dr. Elena on the phone—and my heart sank instantly. We had been told the result would take two to five business days. But it was barely the second day, and already, it was ready. The truth was no longer hiding in the shadows—it was about to be handed to me.“Do you prefer I read out the result to you, or should I send a copy to your email?” she asked calmly, her voice steady on the line. This time, I said nothing. Not that I was scared exactly... but my body was frozen with dread. I was worried—deeply worried—about what the truth might bring. What if he was right? What if Gabriel was actually my half-brother?Everything I had known—or thought I knew—about my family, my past, my very identity, would unravel into lies. I would be forced to question it all, again and again, until I could no longer trust my own memories.Unless you’ve ever been in this exact position, you probably can’t relate. But I hope you can try. Because only then

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 97 The Shock

Tyler’s POV Name: Nikolas Vargas Profession: Actor / Songwriter / Poet Known for: Lover boy roles in Hollywood, not Green City Films Status: Always active on dating sites, as most of his gigs come from there. Biography: …“Yes!” I muttered suddenly, my fist clenching tightly into my palm. The passion behind my voice was raw, a reaction that even surprised me. It was the kind of 'yes' that broke through silence like thunder, loud, impulsive, but full of a kind of desperate hope. That face, I knew I had seen it before. It wasn’t just a passing resemblance. It was Nikolas Vargas. The guy who played charming heartbreakers in films Lola always watched. A Hollywood actor, sure, but what many didn’t know was, he was a Green Citizen. Always in and out of the country, rarely rooted in one place. He was like smoke, present one moment, gone the next. And that was exactly the type of man Eunice had found herself with?It didn’t add up.Don’t get me wrong, Nikolas Vargas could sell love on sc

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 96 Mr. Tiago left

Tyler’s POVMy back hit the ground hard as they threw me out of the gate. The slam of the iron doors echoed behind me, sealing away any hope I had. Mr. Tiago followed behind the guards, the same ones who had carried me out moments ago like I was a sack of grain. He said nothing. He did nothing. He just silently followed behind them like a powerless shadow. But what could he really do?These weren’t just ordinary security men, they were trained, professional guards. And from the way that particular guard bowed to Josie, it was clear as day that they were military. The discipline in their movements, the authority in their tone, it screamed of elite training. Perhaps Josie had hired them for her protection, or maybe they were undercover operatives assigned to her due to her status. It was something I couldn’t fully explain, a situation I didn’t understand, but had no choice but to accept. It was what it was.So there was no way Tiago could protest on my behalf. If he had tried, they wou
