I’m the most dramatic person in the world, I know. That’s all because I was brought up with narrations of miracles, tales about curses and utterly drastic telenovela-storylines. Naturally, the fact that the one narrating it were also dramatic and hot-tempered characters surely wasn’t helpful either. No wonder I felt like nothing even mattered anymore. The night I spent with my mysterious masked man was so wholesome that everything just feels flavorless.

God, I miss someone I don’t even know.

I’m quite sure he doesn’t even waste a minute thinking of me. Going on with his fabulous and successful life. I sigh deeply and Nina looks up at me from her magazine.

“That was a hella deep sigh, love?! What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.”

I take another deep sigh. Even knowing exactly how my grandmother would hate to see me propping my head up on my head while leaning on the counter, I still don’t have the strength to move. As I stare at the door of the boutique, I pout as I talk to Nina.
