Silas' pov

My lips slowly stretched into a smile as I regained consciousness. I groaned as I turned to my side, remembering the events of last night and my hand shot out to pull Scarlett to me but her side of the bed was cold.

My eyes popped open and I looked around the room but there was no sign of her.

"Scarlett?" I called out towards the bathroom although I knew it was unlikely she was in.
