Alex’s POV.

“A man by the name of Efanell, sir,” the guard said.

My head immediately turned to look at the door. I got up and rushed to the door. I opened it and met with the guard who had come with the news.

“Efanell?” I asked, looking straight at him. My guards were almost the same height as me because of the boots they wore and most of them were already tall.

I was careful not to pick short men. If I did then they must’ve been fit for the job.
