I did not want to care. Why should I? He has a woman in his life now. I was more angry at him for choosing Sophie.

Why can he move on and I can't? Why do I have to bask in guilt whenever he looks at me like that, I wasn't his business anymore.

Ryan was understanding and we moved in slow steps while my head remained on his chest, his hand holding the small of my back.

"I wish the world could pause right now," I heard Ryan mumble, "cos I might never get this chance again."

"It's just a dance," I almost laughed. "Don't make a big deal out of it."

"It's more than a dance. I can feel your heat and our bodies are so close, I fear I might not have this opportunity again."
