SIERRA

The morning was bright and full of nervous energy. When the realtor, Mrs. Jenkins, showed up at the motel, Mom greeted her with a polite smile. She held a folder full of house pictures and listings.

“Good morning! I’ve found a few houses that might be just right for your family,” Mrs. Jenkins said cheerfully.

We all gathered around the small motel table as she spread out photos. Alpha Thane, Dane, Kane, Lila, and Zane leaned in to look, while Mom and I sat close by.

“House number one,” Mrs. Jenkins began, pointing to a big, two-story home. “It’s in a quiet neighborhood with good schools nearby.”

Alpha Thane nodded slowly. “The backyard looks perfect for throwing a ball around.”

“Yeah,” I added, “I like the kitchen. It looks... cozy.”

“House number two is a single-story near the park,” Mrs. Jenkins said, flipping the page. “Lots of outdoor space, great for kids.”

Zane smiled. “Lila would love to run around there.”

“House number three needs some work,” she warned. “But it has gre

ARIELI blinked awake, my whole body aching like I had been trampled by a hundred beasts. My head throbbed with pain, and every inch of me felt bruised and broken. The trees above me swayed slightly in the wind, their long, crooked branches stretching toward the sky like bony fingers."Where... where am I?" I croaked. No answer. Just the eerie howl of wind rushing through twisted trees. I sat up slowly, groaning. My clothes were torn, stained with blood and dirt. My legs trembled when I tried to stand, but I forced myself up."What happened to me?"Flashes of memories danced in my mind: a battle between the moon goddess and me, betrayal, and... a blinding light. And then darkness. Everything else was a blur. But one thing was certain. I was thrown in here. Dumped like trash into a cursed forest. I could feel the darkness in the air, thick and cold, wrapping around me like a shroud.I tried walking, but the trees never seemed to end. Every direction looked the same. No path. No exit. J

SIERRAMy mom was a whirlwind from the moment we decided we had to blend in. She took charge like only she could.“Alright, everybody, time for a serious makeover,” she announced, grabbing a big bag of clothes and a box of hair dye like she was leading a fashion show.I laughed, shaking my head. “Mom, are you sure about this? You’re going full-on mom mode.”She grinned, eyes sparkling. “Exactly. We’re not just hiding anymore. We’re living. And we have to look like we belong.”She started with me. “First, we need to fix that wild hair of yours. Let’s lighten it up a bit, something soft.” She pulled out a dye and a brush. “Trust me, it’ll feel like a fresh start.”I sat down, watching her work. “I can’t believe you’re actually doing this. I’m nervous.”“You’ll love it. Wait till you see,” she said, her tone confident but gentle.Next was Alpha Thane. Mom ran her fingers through his hair and said, “We’re going to make you look less… alpha-wolf and more, well, normal.” Alpha Thane rolled

SIERRAI stood alone on the beach, the Moon Goddess's presence fading like mist in the morning sun. The gentle waves lapped at the shore, their rhythmic sound soothing my frayed nerves. The cool sand beneath my feet grounded me, reminding me that I was alive, that I had survived. In the distance, I heard raised voices, familiar ones. My heart skipped a beat. That voice. That deep, thunderous voice laced with fury was my father. Alpha Thane. My feet moved before my mind caught up, and I raced toward the sound, my chest tight, breath shallow.“Thane, please! Stop!” My mother’s voice trembled through the air, filled with fear and pleading.I turned a corner near a cluster of trees and saw them.My father was towering over a man, his hands clenched into fists, his entire body vibrating with rage. His chest heaved with every breath, his teeth bared in pure Alpha fury. The man in front of him looked terrified, stumbling backward but unable to escape Alpha Thane’s looming presence.“Thane!”

SIERRADarkness. That was all I remembered. Darkness, pain, and the crushing weight of betrayal. My body felt like it had been trampled by a thousand wolves. I was cold. Broken. I thought I was dying. Then came the light.Soft. Warm. Gentle.I opened my eyes slowly, my vision blurry. The ceiling above me shimmered with stars, but I wasn’t outside. I was in a glowing chamber that looked like it was made of moonlight itself. The pain in my body was still there, but it was dull, not sharp. Something warm pressed against my chest. A hand."You’re safe now," a voice whispered.I turned my head slowly. A woman sat beside me, glowing faintly. Her silver hair flowed like a river of light, and her eyes held galaxies in them."Moon Goddess?"She nodded gently. "Yes, my dear. You were not meant to die today. Not by their hands."I closed my eyes, and the memory rushed in.The battle. Ariel. Blood. The werewolves turning their backs on me.My chest tightened. I felt my hands clench. "They left me

THANEThe humans stared at us, their faces frozen with shock, confusion, maybe even fear. Their wide eyes followed our every move like we were wild animals who’d suddenly leapt out of thin air. Some started pulling out their phones, slowly, like they weren’t even sure what they were doing. Others acted faster, raising them up and pointing the lenses at us."They're taking pictures," Dane muttered beside me, voice tight with panic. His eyes darted from one human to another. "We’re going to go viral in five seconds.""Dad, what do we do?" Zane asked, voice low and urgent."Stay calm," I said, though my heart was already hammering in my chest. "Nobody does anything stupid…"Before I could finish, the phones sparked.Pop! Pop! Pop!Sparks flew from the devices. Bright little flashes burst in the humans' hands. Some of the phones cracked, others exploded completely. Screams tore through the air.One woman shrieked and dropped her phone like it had bitten her. A man cursed, clutching his ha
