Despite the dark, damp smell that is coming from the twisted corridor, I decided to take a step. If they don’t know this corridor is here, perhaps … This could lead to me getting out of the castle. Then what I don’t know, but curiosity got the better of me, so I carried on all the same.

I had only ever read one book when I was younger. It was a about 12 princesses who lived in a castle and would escape to dance all night with their prince. I wonder if this would lead me to my prince?

The uneven steps made it tricky to manoeuvre down the further I went the light from my room began to disappear. Not that it mattered as a werewolf I can see easily in the dark, but there is something comforting about light.
