My heart raced in my chest as they kept reading out names. Gemma looked in shock, her brown eyes wide as she looked between Megan and I. “Why did I get through?” she kept asking, her voice shaky. I shrugged my shoulders. I have no idea what the scoring system is or even what the rules are. It just seems to be to survive.

“There’s still two spots, maybe we can all remain,” Megan offers, but her face falls and I know that’s not what she wants. While adjusting my robe, I pull the white silk around me in an attempt to ward off the growing chill inside. I wanted to go home. Don’t get me wrong, I did more than anything.
