Kieran's POV

It all happened so fast, too fast even, if you asked me. When Liana had agreed to come down here, I honestly didn't know what to expect. In her words, she'd said she wanted to finskky confront her sister for everything she'd done to her. While that was a good idea, I didn't exactly see it as the right thing to do, neither was it the right time either.

I'd only just rescued Liana from the clutches of that bastard, and in all honesty, all I wanted for Liana was for her to rest and recuperate properly. Ryle had treated her like a slave under his mercy, for which I was still going to make him pay for, and I'd planned to have both of us cooped up together till she was okay and had st least pushed the traumatic events to the side.
