"And you think he would fulfill his part of the promise to you?" He asked, feeling irritated.

"I guess so, he left you alone immediately so I guess he would never lay a finger on you" I said and bit my lips when I realized I sounded like I was defending Alaric. 

"Of course!" He scoffed before angrily storming out of the room and I sighed. I hated this type of relationship between us and I just want things to be right, I wish things were to be right.

I was sincerely tired of the constant back and forth that always happened between us, there was never a day with a fight and what bothers me most was knowing full well that he had headed towards Tala's room.

Can you just get on with it already,,this book is to drawn out when we all figured it out in chapter 2 that Alaric was her mate how can she be that stupid,,get on with it already
