This was bad, my dad wasn't kidding when he said if any of the girls go back he'll kill them. It's not like the police guarding the place won't know who Martha is, that's all they were thinking about for weeks after the raid. Why would she even wanna go back? Last time I was at town even her family didn't want anything to do with her, is she doing this on purpose?
A part of me was hoping if my dad did see her, he'd be a bit more lenient as it's Martha and I've known her since we were little. But than again my dads been after blood since the raid, to top it all off with what we've learnt about mum, it's not looking good.

It doesn't take us long to leave the wood part of town and make it to main part, walking through the woods none of us spoke. I had so much to tell Reece that I know for sure he wouldn't tell my dad especially, but I didn't know if there were others around to hear what I was saying, who definitely would tell my dad."Is it bad to say that I'm kind of happy Martha's gone on one of her hide and seek journeys?" The walk back over to the border was silent, I think both of us are trying to come to terms with what we just saw. Reece walked home with me and waited until I took a bath, I made sure I didn't take too long so he wouldn't be waited for ages. It was now pretty late, so I decide to just change into a warm set of pyjamas. He also had changed into some new clothes, did he sneak off home without telling me? I sit up in bed tossing and turning, it was so late and my body was tired but I couldn't stop thinking about Reece. Cody hasn't returned from chasing after him, if something did happen I know I would hear about it. I sigh placing my head against the headboard staring out the window, it was a full moon which meant the sky looked beautiful. I'm not the only one that feels so relaxed when looking at the moon and the stars am I? When my mother first went missing, I'd sit at my window just looking up at the moon. A part of me was always hoping wherever my mum was, she was looking up at the moon with me so technically she wasn't lost.
