JAYDEN'S POV

Something was off. I could feel it in my bones.

I walked to Jordan's room but I met him coming out. One look at his face and I figured we were both worried.

“Are you okay?” We asked simultaneously.

“Yes,” we replied at the same time.

I frowned. That wasn't quite right. If we were both fine, then what is this heart-wrenching feeling?

“Do you think we might be under attack?” He asked and I shook my head.

“No one would dare to unless they have a death wish. This does not feel like an external attack either,” I said.

We looked at each and it clicked at the same time.

Lorraine.

I took out my phone immediately and called her number. My grip tightened around the phone when she didn't answer.

I tried the number four more times but just like the first time, there was no answer.

“Something is definitely wrong. She wouldn't dare ignore our calls after the warning we gave her the last time,” Jordan noted.
