Kavian’s POV

“Speak plainly, brother. If you have something to say, be out with it.” Arman said with a frown, impatience tightening his features. I shifted my gaze to him and smiled softly, the kind of smile that comes when the truth is already too heavy to carry alone.

“Why don’t you go and ask our father what he doesn’t want us to know,” I said. At that, they all glanced at one another, unease flickering between them.

“What are you talking about?” Arman asked.

“He’s keeping secrets from us about Rose,” I said calmly. “Did you think my decision to help Rose escape the camp was spontaneous? A careless move?” I shook my head. “No. I overheard Father speaking with his beta—about Rose being the Phoenix wolf, and about how unfortunate it is that she’s our mate. He plans to do something to her. Something they didn’t want us to find out.”

“You won’t speak about our father in such a defamatory manner,” Roshan snapped, heat rising fast in his voice.

“What do I gain from defaming him?” I asked

Rose’s POVLearning that my father was dead hurt in a way I couldn’t properly explain. Memories kept surfacing without warning—his voice, his stern looks, the way he used to stand between me and the world. Since my mother died when I was very little, he had been everything to me. Father. Mother. Protector. I spent most of my life thinking he was too strict, too controlling, always stopping me from exploring, from having fun. Only now did I truly understand that it had been his way of loving me—of shielding me from a world he knew was cruel. And now he was gone. What unsettled me most was not just the pain, but how contained it felt. I cried, yes—but only for a few hours. That thought haunted me. He deserved more than that. After all he had given me, after every sacrifice he made, only a handful of tears? It felt wrong. Unfair. I wondered if that made me an ungrateful daughter. But maybe my body had simply seen too much horror in too little time. Maybe grief had exhausted itself in me,

Rose’s POV“What did you say? My father is dead?" I asked, the words barely making it past my throat as heat burned behind my eyes.“Oh. You didn’t know." Arman’s voice dipped, losing some of its edge. “Yes, he is dead."The confirmation struck deep, sharp and unforgiving, like a blade driven straight into my chest.Tears slipped free before I could stop them, blurring my sight. I had suspected it—felt it in the silence, in the way no message ever came—but I had clung to the fragile hope that he had survived the war, that fate had spared him, that one day I would see him again.“How did he die?" My voice trembled as it left me. “Did you kill him, or was it your father, or one of your brothers? Answer me!" I demanded, the grief curdling into something hotter, angrier.“You really think I am that evil?" Arman shot back. “Your father didn’t meet his end by my hand, nor by my brothers’, nor my father’s." He paused, letting the moment stretch. “Your father was killed by his beta—Marcel and

  • Mated To The Quadruplets Lycan Alphas    Chapter 172

Rose’s POVThe moment his lips met mine, the world narrowed to the heat between us. Everything else blurred—sound, space, time—until there was only the press of his mouth and the sharp pull low in my stomach. There was nothing gentle about it—no hesitation, no careful testing. His hands came to my waist with urgency, fingers digging in as if he was afraid I might vanish if he let go. I welcomed the roughness, leaned into it, let it anchor me there with him.I tasted desperation in the kiss. Fear. Need. All the things he hadn’t said bled into the way his mouth claimed mine, into the hitch of his breath when I answered just as fiercely. I curled my fingers into his shirt, bunching the fabric in my fists, dragging him closer, refusing the distance he kept trying—and failing—to hold.My whole body, spirit, and soul craved and yearned for him. The wanting felt too big to contain, too loud to ignore. My hands moved on their own, working open the buttons of his shirt, pushing it from his sho

Author’s POVThe death of Tristan’s mother left him hollowed out from the inside. Sleep abandoned him, and when it did come, it brought memories he couldn’t escape—her voice, her face, the last words they never shared. He blamed himself relentlessly: for not being there to protect her, for choosing distance when pride and pain had once stood between them. What haunted him most was the thought that she had died believing he hated her. The truth was far crueler—he had forgiven her long ago, and he had never stopped loving her. His chest tightened every time he thought of it, the unspoken words pressing like a weight against his ribs. If only she had known. But death did not bargain, and regret came too late. Now she was gone, and no apology or confession could reach her.Tristan was alpha, and the pack needed him. The city lay in ruins, lives shattered alongside stone and timber, and he understood that grief—especially his—could not be allowed to rule him, at least not where others coul

  • Mated To The Quadruplets Lycan Alphas    Chapter 170

Rose’s POVAlpha King Armon—my mates’ father. The name alone settled heavy in my chest. He was the one person I despised above all others, yet also the one person I couldn’t refuse. Not because I feared what he might do to me—that no longer mattered—but because I knew exactly what he could do to Kavian if I disobeyed him. That was the chain around my neck.“Drop the dress and tell your Alpha I’ll be joining him for breakfast,” I said.Grace bowed immediately. “I will, my Luna. I should take my leave now.” She backed away respectfully before slipping out of the room, closing the door softly behind her.My gaze fell to the dress. For a heartbeat, my fingers twitched with the urge to rip it apart, to tear the fine fabric until it lay in shreds at my feet. I swallowed the impulse down. It was just breakfast. And maybe—if fate decided to be kind for once—Kavian would be there.Since the day he stepped in to stop his brothers from touching me, we hadn’t spoken. I’d seen him in passing, brie
