Chapter 39

Back at her home and in her room, Lucia was sleeping soundly before when suddenly during the daybreak, she starts to shiver under the blanket.

Scarlett woke up past 8am and went to the kitchen, the storeroom and then back to the living room but still couldn't find Lucia anywhere in those. Or is she yet to wake up?. She thought.

She made her way up the stairs and opening the door to Lucia's room, she entered. "Heavens should be praised!, Lucia not up at this time of the day. Wow, what a change, I..."

Her tongue got caught up in her throat when her eyes finally opened to the situation on ground. She shrieked bewildered,"W-whatt...!, L..ucia!"

There in her bed she laid on her bed shivering all over, even though she's under a heavy blanket, her fidgeting body could still be seen moving rapidly.

She quickly ran out of her room and down the stairs to call for help. Yelling on top of her voice. "Dad!, Lucia needs to be taken to the physician."
