They wanted to know what prompted Kallan and Octavia's visit, but I wasn't really sure I knew any more than them. Octavia was vague and made it seem like her whole trip here was just to convince me to take my bracelet off.

“She said she had a vision that I needed help,” I shrugged my shoulders, “something about my future, and encouraged me to let Artemis out.” Both of them practically dropped what they were holding, their eyes shooting down to my wrist, and stared at me for a moment.

“Let Artemis out?” Xander was the first to speak.

“Yea, she held my hands, somehow talked to my wolf,” I tucked my hair behind my ears as they grinned from ear to ear, “who are they anyway, you guys seemed… tense… around them.”

I think they definitely could have dealt with this conversation better for her... instead of just basically saying no to her they should have said please think about it or something and not been so rude about her "not needing her brother"
