But what happens when this second chance at love spirals into utter chaos?**"I was his light. We were opposites in every way but somehow, fate had caused us to collide and here we were. But now that we were here, I knew that if I needed to, I would do it all over again if it meant that it would be the two of us at the end of it all."Mated to My Powerful Alpha Abroad was created by Reina Bellevue, an eGlobal Creative Publishing signed author.

Chapter 1 : Art in Motion
**Dawn’s POV“Who’s that hot guy? I think I know him…” My lungs were still burning from the sprint across the airport towards my slowly closing gate. The only thing I could really focus on was the strain on my lungs. My vision was blurred with my breathlessness. So even if I did turn around to see whatever man candy the attendant in front of me was talking about, I wouldn’t have been able to see him clearly. But in any case, I managed to hand the attendant my ticket, trying to catch my breath while breathing through my nose. Her attention was apparently taken up by said hot guy who must have been close behind me, but I needed to get on the plane so I could sit down and catch my breath.. I waved the ticket in front of her face and the hypnotic spell this hot guy cast on her was broken. “Just in time.” The woman smiled down at me, although I could see there was a fleck of irritation in her eyes at having to take her gaze away from him to see to my late arrival at the gate.

Chapter 2 : The Alleyway Brawl
Dawn’s POVSneaking out of the plane and away from the baggage collection area without being seen by Craig Blackstone was as easy said as it was done, thank God.I hadn’t really seen him after the first initial glance, having lost him in the crowd as people rushed to get out of the plane and to their possessions as quickly as possible. Candice’s arm stayed linked through mine since we found our separate bags and then the taxi that was waiting for us to take us to the university campus. And once we had gotten there and I saw the place, I didn’t think I could have gone back to college back home and thought highly of it. Unlike the college back home, Coaliton University was a spectacle to behold. Trees lined every pavement you could see, and in the midst of it surrounded by old, ivy covered face-brick stone was a huge courtyard filled with statues from marble to bronze. There was metalwork winding up and down the staircases as intricate as a fingerprint, even the grass seemed to

Chapter 3 : The Wolf and the Lady
Dawn’s POVI tried to move on and reassure myself that Craig would indeed handle the bad guys in the alley. But, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened in the alley throughout the rest of orientation. I couldn't stop thinking about Craig. He saved my life. Also, Craig seemed to have… grown up since the last time I saw him, especially after he had managed to subdue three men without so much as breaking a sweat. Plus, his eyes. They were glowing. “Oh, hello,” Candice’s voice broke me out of my thoughts as I moved with the crowd, headed to our dorm assignments. But when I looked up to greet her I realized it wasn’t me at all that she had greeted. Instead, it was someone behind me.When I turned around, Craig was there. When had he gotten there? How had I not heard him? And was he following me? Was he trying to make sure I got back to the crowd safely?“Hey,” Craig said in response, standing still in front of the two of us until Candice spoke again.“Heading to

Chapter 4 : Art Thrives from Chaos
Dawn’s POVI had never felt so confused in my entire life.I continued to stare at the image of the woman made of metal in front of me. She seemed so familiar to me, her hair length identical to mine, and for some reason even the way her face and body was shaped made me feel like—What was I thinking? Where did this sudden nonsense come from that I thought he had made a metal figure of me?Snap out of it Dawn, you’re embarrassing yourself!“It’s rushed,” he said in response to my question, despite me already having figured out that it was him who had created it.“I like it,” I found myself admitting truthfully. “It doesn’t look rushed to me.”“There are unpolished pieces on the woman’s figure, and the wolf’s eyes—”“The wolf’s eyes are bearing down.” I breathed out before he could say anything. “Animate, claiming. It’s extraordinary how… human they look.”I blinked as I came to realize I had been rambling, and my eyes shot up to look at Craig to see that he had alread

Chapter 5 : Where Inspiration Hides
Dawn’s POVThe world sings inspiration. That was what my aunt used to always tell me when I was a kid. No young girl ever wants to have to deal with her parents dying before her. The hurt usually came from watching other kids in their full families. When they would have parents come in to school for parent day, when their mother or father-or both, sometimes-would pick them up from school. Even hearing about their holidays when they came back would be like a stab to the heart.I was lucky, though. I was raised by my aunt, who fortunately was an amazing woman. She had taken me in with absolutely zero hesitation and raised me like her own daughter. She had never had children of her own and had never been married, either. So it was always just the two of us against the world.Sometimes, when things became particularly hard during my teenage years and I began to feel the absence of parents more deeply, she would take time off from work and have us go to our cabin at the lake, whe

Chapter 6 : She Doesn't Know
Dawn’s POV“You want to merge our mediums together?” I asked over the sound of my now empty tray hitting the back of the holder. “How would that even work?”I watched as Craig shrugged. “Plenty of artists have done it before, it isn’t like this will be an entirely new concept. All we have to do is figure out a theme and piece special enough to wow the judges.”I sighed as I followed him out of the dining hall and into the main hall. There were considerably more people now, causing me to brush up against Craig more than once in an attempt to stay close enough to speak and also out of the way of everyone else walking about.“Here,” eventually, Craig’s hand came up to the side of my waist as he pulled me to stand in front of him, where he placed both hands on my shoulders and led me through the throng of people as he looked over my head. I would have felt offended at how he moved me around like a doll if I wasn’t, well, so impressed at how easily he seemed to move me around like a

Chapter 7 : Nightlife
Dawn’s POV“Agh,” I groaned as I pushed through the heavy door of the ladies’ restroom. I wished I could say a cool breeze hit me as soon as I did, but instead I was engulfed with the stuffy air of an even more stuffy hallway, bodies squished and pushed to one side that formed the line leading to the bathroom that was currently being occupied. There were only three toilets in there, two of them currently being puked into—I gave the first woman in the line a look that said waiting wasn’t the best idea. She seemed to understand, because she groaned as well before leaving the line and going off somewhere else. Hopefully a bush, and not some obscure corner of the bar Candice had managed to drag me to tonight.“Are you having fun!” said woman asked me, both her and my drink in her hands covered with their individual coasters sat upon them. I deadpanned at her as I massaged the side of my head. I didn’t know whether it was because the bar scene in Europe was so different to the one bac

Chapter 8 : The Studio
Dawn’s POVI woke up better than Candice did the next morning.By that I mean I woke up not wanting to set the world on fire and she, well, didn’t. “God…” Candice groaned as she hung off the side of the bed, her hair hanging on the floor below her as she extended her arms as far as she could. I could only shake my head from the bathroom where I was busy brushing my teeth. “I want to die.”“I think you might already be dead,” I told her in response as I moved back to the bathroom to rinse my mouth. “Explains the look on your face.”She groaned again as I laughed and pulled on my socks. “I didn’t know being dead could hurt this much. Why did you let me drink so much at the club, anyway?”“You had like, one beer at the club,” I recalled. “And half of mine I think, but at the bar…”I laughed again when Candice groaned, pulling the covers over her head and curling up into a ball when knocking was heard from the front door. I looked at it as I turned away from Candice and went to

Chapter 9 : Kisses and Kindness
Dawn’s POV“So,” I cleared my throat as I began moving my equipment around. “I, uhh, went over your notes for the theme of the project.”“What did you think?”I nodded my head as I looked at him, affirming that I agreed with them. “They were pretty good, though I just haven’t worked much on animal anatomy, so when it comes to your part I might need a bit of assistance.”Craig hummed as he pulled up some pieces of metal, they weren’t large enough to begin his sculpture, but they were big enough for him to twist and turn and smelt into decorative pieces for the larger one he would be creating.“So, a wolf huh?” I asked as I organized my own things, and lifted my head up in shock when I suddenly heard a clanging sound from his side of the room. When I looked back I found Craig bending over to pick up some of the metal pieces he had dropped on the floor, there wasn’t any evidence of him tripping over anything, so he must have dropped it when he wasn’t paying attention. “Are you a

Chapter 10 : The Attack
Craig’s POVI stayed in the studio for a few more hours after Dawn had fallen asleep, careful not to use any of the equipment that could possibly wake her up and disturb her. It wasn’t so hard, instead of working on the main component of my piece I instead focused on the finer details, parts she would also use to properly incorporate into her own ceramic style. I took special care to make those pieces as close to perfection as I could. My eyes moved towards her on instinct when she shifted on the couch, the jacket falling off from her body that I had placed there some hours prior. I stood up to pick it up from the ground when I heard a clanging sound, and then a thump. I surveyed Dawn for a moment, certain that she hadn’t done anything to cause it.Then I looked back to my work station where I noticed nothing had fallen off the table or moved out of the place I had carefully put each individual tool and ingredient. Which left only two other options.Either the delivery we had c
