“Help me out?” Samson echoed, puzzled by what she meant. Haley brought her hands to her hips, making herself stand a little taller. “Though I can’t directly do anything so I’ll give you a piece of advice.” She gave Samson a mischievous smile. Samson waited for a moment before relaxing a little, deciding that anything would be better than what he was doing now. “I’m listening.” He replied. “I bet you’ve been treating Selena as some sort of goal, getting into a relationship or hooking up with her is just a goal for you isn’t it?” Haley started, already seeing that she was right by the look on Samson’s face. “That works with some girls but most of us, we prefer to be treated as an equal, not just a goal to reach then move on from.” Haley patted him on the back aggressively. “Treated as equals… huh?” Samson turned to look at the dressing room, pondering the thought of treating her like he would treat himself. Haley waited for a few moments, letting it sink in before speaking. “So, h
Samson scoffed before turning around and leaving without a word. As he walked out of the store, he made a mental note of the conversation that he and Haley had. Standing with her arms crossed, Selena watched as the girls came out, surrounding Samson and poking fun at him as they approached her. She was unable to put a finger on it but the sight made her uncomfortable, she worried about what Samson might do to them should they say the wrong thing. “I wanna hit up one more place before we leave,” Sarah said, “Is that alright with you Selena?” Selena spun her head towards her. “Yea, of course.” She said politely. Slowly the group made their way towards a fashion store that always kept in touch with the latest styles and trends. As they walked Selena observed Samson and Haley as Haley teased Samson who retorted back quickly. Those two seem closer, don't you think Penny? Selena asked. Yes they certainly do, I wonder what happened while we were away? Penny responded, curious about how
“What’s that thing?!” Shouted Charlie, desperately grabbing the hands of Annie and Sarah as the three slowly moved backwards. Samson turned to Selena. “Get in the car with the others.” He ordered. Selena clenched her teeth and brought her eyebrows together in an aggressive V, letting her anger shine fiercely in her eyes. “I’m not leaving, this is MY pack and these are MY fights!” She shouted back, getting in Samson’s face. “It… doesn’t matter…. Who… stays behind… huuh,” Gibrail yawned, “Because I’m… going to kill… all… of you…” “HYYYYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!” Sarah’s shrill shriek filled the air as she dropped to the ground. The shadows behind them began to shift and morph. Whispers filled the air, growing louder as the shadows started taking a more concrete form. A foot came into the light, followed by another until an endless army formed out of nothing, climbing its way to the top of the parking garage. They looked to be wearing the same outfits as the small group from earlier, chuckl
There was a dull ache in her shoulder as Selena slowly pushed the small bits of metal that had broken off the car off her body. As she grabbed the headlights of the broken car to pull herself forwards, her right shoulder felt like someone had stuck a rod into it, making it numb and causing her neck to feel like someone had slapped it with their full might. From the distance she heard a shout and saw Samson raising his arm, shaking the Solar Bonds. “KEY!!!” He shouted again. As Selena wobbled from right to left she thought over the choice before standing as tall as she could through the stiffness. “NO!!” She shouted back at him, seeing him lower his arm slowly and spit on the ground before turning his back to her as he resumed fighting through the horde rushing endlessly at him.“Looks like her highness can handle a little beat down.” Gibrail mocked her with his rumbly voice.Selena smiled. “A beating is easy compared to what you’re about to go through.” She taunted. As quick as it had
Driving his heel into the first thug, Samson sent him staggering backwards, pinballing between the others, forcing them off balance and creating some space. “Say it!” He shouted. Haley gulped an invisible, thick lump in her throat. “It’s not too great but it’s something,” She started, “My car’s not too far from here, if you can get us there, we can leave and then you can go and help Selena.” She stared at his back as he stood still. Samson thought over the plan as the thugs slowly picked themselves up. He realized that this was the only option they had left. He shook his head violently, getting rid of all doubt. “Fine!” He turned to her. With a nod, Haley started moving to her right, towards the swarm of thugs. “This way!” She navigated. One step at a time, Samson moved along with them, dancing around the group of frightened girls to ward off the growling thugs. After a few more steps they made it to a black sedan and the girls quickly hopped inside while Samson continued to chip
Samson looked around at the flaming bodies and singed cars. The memories of all the destroyed towns and villages popped into his head. All the werewolves he had slaughtered lying lifelessly on the ground in the dead of the night. All the times Lola would arrive and praise him for a job well done. The memories felt endless. ”Looks familiar doesn’t it?” Samson said to himself. Too familiar, Skull commented. With a strong leap, Samson made his way back to where Selena was only to find the dent in the car that was the result of Gibrail hitting her and no one else. The hairs on his arm raised again as he realized that something bad had happened. “SELENA!!” Samson shouted as he started running through the parking garage, checking behind every car. The further he ran the more the faint scent of blood filled the air. Samson’s heart started beating harder, climbing to his throat, as he ran quicker in the direction of the smell. It rapidly became stronger until he finally saw small droplets
“Who?” Samson asked. The wolf lowered its eyebrows. “How dare you not hear of me!” The wolf howled before charging forwards once again. Samson clenched his teeth and lowered his chin. He knew that if he was going to fight Lucifer it would be a war of attrition. He watched as the wolf snapped at him, twisting and moving in strange ways to get around his guard. He continued dodging, trying to look for an opening but the wolf didn’t have any. Every attack, every twist was well guarded and now having seen the danger in its mouth, Samson avoided it as best as he could. “Is this the best the werewolves can offer!” Lucifer howled through the bites, “Is the strongest werewolf alive just a coward who only knows how to dodge?” “LYCAN!!” Lucifer howled as it snapped near Samson’s neck. Like a whip, Samson jammed his right fist into the wolf’s face, sending it back with a flinch. Finally able to create the opening, he sprinted to the wolf and wove his fingers together in a tight club and sl
Samson let out an exhausted sigh. “I don’t know what the problem between you and that other guy is,” Samson said, “But keep me out of it.” “Stay down there human!” Lucifer howled, “This goes against our contract!” Gibrail took over, visibly clenching his wolfish jaw. “Listen Lucifer, we both want to keep this guy alive, lets-” “I REFUSE!!” Lucifer took over, foaming at the mouth. “LISTEN TO ME!!” Gibrail slammed his head into the ground. “I’d rather die than work with someone who spends his day doting on his brother!” Lucifer pulled his head up and slammed it into a nearby SUV. The two continued to argue, shouting at each other while throwing themselves against the ground and nearby vehicles. It was slow but Samson saw it, amongst their fighting, the fur on the wolf was shrinking while the wolf itself was growing in size. Their voices began to combine, turning into nothing but loud roars. The transformation continued ever so slowly as the wolf started morphing into a humanoid.
