“ Why would you say that to her?" I questioned my mother immediately after Mia left. I could not believe she could do that to the very daughter she raised for eighteen years.

“ What's wrong with what I said? It's the truth after all." My mother replied. She was the least apologetic about her words and actions which obviously hurt Mia.

“ You didn't have to reveal the truth to her. Did you stop to consider her feelings?"

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. Even if she was angry at Mia, it didn't have to come to that.

“ Consider her feelings?" My mother snorted.

“ Why do I have to consider her feelings? Did she consider my feelings when she seduced you?” She countered, her words making me shake my head in disappointment.

" I already told you, Mia didn't seduce me. It's me who kissed her first. Besides, I don't see anything wrong with what I did. She is my mate.” I answered stubbornly.

Since she was the one chosen to me by the Moon goddess, it's only right that I cl
