“Amelia can you hear me?" Emily's voice came through in Ivy's head.

"Ouch, what the fuck?" Ivy screamed as she stepped out of the pack house.

"It's Emily, Amy please tell me if you can hear me." Emily said.

Ivy stood there, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to make sense of the mysterious voice echoing in her head. Confusion and fear clouded her thoughts, but a spark of recognition ignited within her when Emily's name was mentioned. But why was she hearing Emily's voice inside her head? And what did she mean by asking if she could hear her?

She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself, and cautiously replied, "Emily? Is that really you? How... how are you speaking to me like this?"

Emily's voice resonated through Ivy's mind once again, filled with both relief and urgency. "It's a mind-link, Amy. We can communicate telepathically. Listen, today is the full moon, and I wanted to see if your wolf has finally awakened. Can you feel any changes within you?"
