“This is necessary, Kora. Our land was already cursed by your race once. With our affair, it will turn worse,” he said, taking a deep breath. He felt a thousand needles prickling his throat as he uttered those words.

“This is necessary? Tell me, Kylan! Do you want to be the alpha of your race, or do you want it to be safe?” She asked him straight. Her eyes dig holes into his soul.

“I want them to be safe,” he said.

“Then the worst that could have happened to us was you being stripped of your position and banished. While I was banished! Why the hell do you want to kill me?!” No words left Kylan’s mouth.
