Aidaan POV

I sat in my car, parked outside her home, my eyes fixed on the entrance. I had been waiting for what felt like an eternity, my mind racing with the urgency of the situation. I dialed her number, my voice firm and commanding when she answered. "Meet me outside your home." I didn't bother with small talk or explanations; time was of the essence.

As she emerged from her house, I could sense her curiosity and apprehension. Good. She should be wary. I gestured for her to get in, and she complied, her eyes locked on mine. I sped off into the night, the city lights fading into darkness as we drove further away from civilization.

The GPS led us to the abandoned Redstone Industries factory, its crumbling structure a testament to the secrets it held. I pulled up to the entrance, the car's headlights casting an eerie glow on the faded sign. I could feel her unease, her questions hanging in the air like a challenge.
