SECOND DAY IN THE COLD LORD'S MANSION

Sam sat on the bed, chitchatting with Jereni. She had become more acquainted with her in just a day. Jereni taught her how to prepare the Buttermilk waffles which she served her that morning.

Sam admired her because she knew how to prepare over fifty dishes while she; herself barely knew how to make five dishes.

She was eager to see the outside so she asked Jereni if they could go out for a walk but Jereni said that she first had to recover. She enjoyed her tortur more because whenever she raised a question at Jereni, the latter would always tell her that she first had to recover.

She was a bit sad but she didn't show it. She didn't want to make her feel bad because she has been more like a friend to her since the cold-hearted man was really forbidding and it scared her.

When Jereni went out to drop the plates, Sam was left alone in the room so she decided to go peep through the window. Probably, she might have a clue about the place since Jereni refused to tell her anything.
