Chapter eleven
Kennedy
I woke up the next morning and Kelly was tracing her finger over the spot I hit my head. Her small lips kiss my temple and I hum a content sigh. "Good morning mommy," she says with a smile.
"Good morning sweetie," I murmur quietly and she lays facing me.
"Are you feeling better," she asks with concern and I nod lightly. "Did you want to come with me to breakfast? Daddy must already be downstairs."
"I'd love to," I say with a smile and we make our way down to the kitchen.
Sam looks up from the tray she was arranging and comes over to me with concern. "How are you feeling? I was on my way with breakfast," she says softly, sitting me in a chair with the whole clan watching.
"I feel fine," I say softly, showing her through our bond.
Relief fills her eyes, caressing my face and gives me a passionate kiss. She pulls away as tears roll down her cheeks and I was left confused by her actions. Did something happen las

Kennedy I woke up, snuggled between Sam and Kelly. I feel a kiss on my shoulder and look behind me at Sam. I let out a content sigh and snuggle closer to her. Then I remember the rouge leopards that were going after Kelly and sit up with a protective growl. Sam sits up, caressing my face and gives me calming eyes. "Where are they," I ask in a growling whisper. "They're being held in the dungeon," she says in a soothing whisper. "Are you feeling okay? This is the second time you fainted in three days." Kennedy I woke up cuddled with Eloise and a rose on Samantha's pillow. I smile at the rose and could smell her faint scent of vanilla and lavender, but I could also smell a faint scent of sandalwood mixed with it. I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion because no one I know wears sandalwood. My mate's mark was starting to burn and I half shift, running towards the pull of the bond. Clan members cleared out of my way, afraid of me in my leopard form when I'm not seeking comfort. The pull brought me to the infirmary and I was getting scared. Kennedy I woke with two roses on the pillow next to me. I sigh in disappointment that neither of my mates were with me. I climb out of bed and step in the shower. I let the warm water run over my growing belly, calming their aggressive kicking. Sandalwood floods the shower and feel as Skylar wraps at my back. She places her hands on my drumming stomach and thankfully the kicking calms immediately. I let out a relieved breath and rest my head back against her chest. KennedyWatching Skylar with Kelly these last few days has been heart warming. I could see the joy in her eyes everytime Kelly called her Papa. When Kelly wasn't around, she looked down in the dumps. The twinkle in her eyes when she rubbed my stomach or when she could feel the twins through the mate's bond. It's also been as long since Kennedy thought I'd be able to carry my own child because I have both reproductive systems. She's now twenty-two weeks pregnant and things have turned for the better for all of us.
