Chapter thirteen

Kennedy 

I woke up, snuggled between Sam and Kelly. I feel a kiss on my shoulder and look behind me at Sam. I let out a content sigh and snuggle closer to her. Then I remember the rouge leopards that were going after Kelly and sit up with a protective growl. Sam sits up, caressing my face and gives me calming eyes. "Where are they," I ask in a growling whisper. 

"They're being held in the dungeon," she says in a soothing whisper. "Are you feeling okay? This is the second time you fainted in three days."

"I'm fine," I say in a calming breath. "I feel fine. I promise."

I climb out of bed and head downstairs. I feel Samantha grab my hand and lace my fingers with hers. I feel Kelly take my other hand and take hers. We enter the kitchen and members of the clan look at me with light smiles. "Good morning," Eloise says with a smile walking up to us and gives me a hug. "How are you feeling sweetheart?"
