“Thank you, Blayne.” Sianna took the Regant file from me and the cyan face towel fell from her hand. The folder contained the list of the thirty-one children who were to be placed into our education system. “I’ll complete these later.”

The swearing-in ceremony for the Regant Rogues was conducted four days ago and now Cleo has some peace. My protective arms encircled Cleo as she nestled up against my chest.
