CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE

Jamima was all set for her trip to the hunters' organisation. She was about to leave when someone tugged on her dress, causing her to come to a halt.

"Alex, how many times have I told you not to stop me when I'm busy?" she said, knowing who it was.

"I'm sorry, but-" he paused and did not finish his sentence.

Jamima took a deep breath and turned to face him. He appeared to be undecided about whether or not to ask her "Tell me whatever it is. Now that, you have two minutes after this don't blame me for not listening to you!"

Alex clenched his little hands in response to his mother's dismissive attitude toward him, but then smiled and said, "Never mind, I've forgotten. I'll see you later."

He returned to his room after saying this. Jamima was watching him because she knew he was lying and was hurt by her actions.
